I really should know this but...
How big of radiator is needed to effectively cool a 920 and a high end nvidia GPU. I have room for a 120.2, in the bottom of my case and maybe, maybe a 120.1 as well. What is the threshold for this?
Thanks
JB

It all depends on the wattage you need cooled and your tolerance for fan noise. So no easy answer. Which card first. High end mean a lot to different people.

120.3 for i7 920 and GTX295? This is gonna run hot.
I have a 920 at 4 gigs and a 5850 to the max, plus NB and mosfet blocks in a single loop and CPU runs at 40 idle and 65 under load, GPU is very close to ambient temp on zero load and 50C on load. I have a Feser 480 rad with slow ass fans.

It's funny cause while I build my case my new
i7 920 @ 4ghz and my 9800GX2, which is overclocked
also, are sitting on my test bench with a single Swiftech 120.3
rad and only two fans on it and CPU temp avg is 35C.
The GPU temp is 34C.
While a 295 runs hotter than my card it can also withstand a
butt load of heat more than the CPU.
I would say you could use both the 120.2 and 120.1 and while
temps won't be extremely low they will still be good.
