Yes sir. You can get a perfectly square edge. You will need an extra tool, however--pick up a $3 bastard file from Harbor Freight.

What extra tool? Bastard file? :S What is that?
So I can cut a big square on the bottom with a dremel tool?
Please explan I'm a noob at tools :P
You can cut with dremel, with metal scissors, with jigsaw .. options are endless. Maybe it's worth later on to put "c" profile rubber edging on cuts though.
I used a 117mm hole saw for the hole that was not in the meshed area and then used super sharp side cutters for the mesh then finished a semi circle with the dremel then cleaned it up with a file.
Hole saw all the way for easy and perfection, but costs more. Dremel for low cost but allot of messing around and chance of slipping
