    Kingston HyperX 2133 CL8 @ 2600MHZ CL8 on LN2

Having left some LN2 from the HWBot Country Cup tests, I decided to freeze some RAM. The Kingston HyperX 2x2GB 2133 CL8 with Elpida Hyper seemed pretty interesting for this experiment

The test system was the following:
    - Intel Core i7 870 + Scythe Ninja 2 + Delta fan
    - ASUS P7P55D (not very good for clocking the memory high but was the only decent board I had lying around here)
    - WD2500AAKS
    - Cooler Master RPP 1250W

I had only time for a couple of validations until the memory freeze completely . I will push higher on a Gigabyte P55 and a better insulation on the RAM.

    CPUz VALIDATION @ 2605.6MHz 8-9-8-24-1T

I want to thank Kingston for the memory!

    Have a nice weekend,
    matose

Very nice results! Could probably go a little bit further with the CPU under LN2, though, huh?

Probably so, but the difference isn't like on the Bloomfield where the uncore was the limiting factor. But it will be interesting with the CPU & RAM under LN2 on the Gigabyte P55

Didn't have time to try that, but memory LN2 benching it's a bit hard to do because oh the RAM freezing eventually
