XS @ CES 2010 - Details

Anybody here successfully used Priceline.com "name your own price" and for how much you got the room?

I tried twice with prices from $80 to $90 3 1/2 stars up and nada. Seams like they all now CES/2010 is coming cause I've stayed there in 4 stars for less (Summer).

Yeah, CES prices will be inflated but there are still some good deals out there.

Im going to vegas right around that time... But im flying out that Friday.

I have some CES badges waiting for me if I so wish to attend that, but I dont think I can change my flight to accommodate the XS party on Sat...

All I can say is that the XS party last year was THE event not to miss..
(yea, get on the phone to the airline and make return for sunday night)

As for excitement it was seriously a 11 on a scale of 10..
Great people, excellent food to feed a 1000 and there were app 250 there.
Then the AMD show with the LHe, the Intel guys inside watching Francois,Mike Guava,boblemagnifique,etc do their thing.
When I tell you that you couldn't have asked for a better get together I am not BS'ing you.
And then there was Jasmine.. Oh my heart!

Most car rental places used to be 25+ only but now they charge you extra if you're 21+

I think Charles has the winning formula this year. And as long as my wife isn't giving birth the day of my flight I'll be there.

Of course, last year had its moments....think about it this way....there are about 740,000 people who wish they had been there last year...

That Vegas trip was one of the best I've ever taken..
Still trying to figure out whether the Xs party or the trip and tour of Hoover dam was the best?
To all who didn't go and need a little motivation i can tell you that you won't be disappointed. Great group of people.
I met many who I'd known only thru here in posts and all we're great.
And then there was Jasmine.. Oh, did I say that before?
