Is Asus Sabertooth 55i made by Foxconn?

I was looking at that mobo and lots of things seems very familiar to me.. Especially PWM area, I know that socket itself is made by Foxconn. And back I/O connectors.. and pretty much lots of things.

Based on reviews (which are pretty good), I think that its not much ASUS work as someone else.. but I can be wrong, is there someone who know how it is?

dont think so... there were rumors that asus would outsource lowcost boards to foxconn... which makes sense as foxconn can produce large volume stuff cheaper than asus' own factory unit aka pegatron afaik. but a new and hence low volume highend board? dont think so...

Foxconn manufactures a lot of essential connectors, such as I/O stuff (DIN, USB, FW, ...), CPU sockets, PCI(e) and DRAM expansion slots. There are two big players in this game, one is Foxconn and the other is Lotes.

So no, Sabertooth is not made by Foxconn, it only uses (as every board out there) parts made by Foxconn.
