5.25 Bay 120mm fan housing?

Are there any other good bay devices that can simply be used for airflow?

So far all I can find is the Silverstone CFP51 and CFP52B, but both of those are for hard drive cages so they unnecessarily obstruct airflow with the excess construction.

All I want is a way to mount a 120mm fan intake in three bay slots.

The main reason I ask is that a nice sleek one would be a great addition to the Corsair 800D to add airflow into the motherboard area and/or a top mounted rad. The single 120mm intake from the bottom seems like it would just cripple any serious cooling in that case.

    something like this

Cooler master and others do something like this, 4 into 3 Modual. I have the CM 690 case and just fitted a 120mm fan behind the DVD 5.25 slots that I was not using, its metal mesh and foam construction.

Yea they all seem to be hard drive cage adapters though.

Doesn't seem to be one completely dedicated to simply a fan mount.

    Not a particularly elegant solution.

Looks like I'd have to custom fab it. No biggie, was just hoping there was already an elegant solution out there.

If you can't find any more Kama Bays it's because they release the Kama Bay II. I think all they did is replace the fan.

Awesome. Gonna try to find a reseller here. That looks like it'd go very well with the 800D.

Doesn't have to be incredibly powerful, just enough to blow some fresh air into the case since I'm still a little wary of that lone 120 or 140mm intake at the bottom.

LMAO you're welcome I always keep track on some "odd" companies like Sharkoon and Nexus always pays of for some "necessary" equipment like that

Well, my recently-acquired Nox Coolbay Basic tower case comes with one of those.

It's a VERY simple fan holder that extends 90º to the nearest screw holes.

It's a MAJOR pain to find some images of it, but I think I managed to do it.

    Check and .

You can try to get Nox to send some of those your way, though it might be easy to build, it seems fairly simple...

    Cheers.

I've seen these for a while now on their sites, but actually finding a place to purchase them from can be a challenge. A pity too.
