[OCTH] Asus Rampage II Gene + 920 D0 on cold @ 240 BCLK

    hey guys,
i had left a few liters LN2 of my last benching on E8600 and decided to check my 920 D0 on the Gene quickly, so actually couldnt make anything serious but i think for this value what the Gene represents (small matx mobo with same potential like the big brothers), its quite awesome

max CPU & BCLK clock achieved is 240.1mhz at -75C

    vcore: 1.45v
    vqpi: 1.52v
    ioh: 1.31v
    pcie: 115mhz

    06 cpu test

i was looking for the cpus coldbug in the last few minutes, but i was out of ln2 at -140C, windows was still OK and everything still operated wich is quite promosing for the next session

    regards,
    bala

Such a big OC for such a small board
Great clocks on the GENE man !

Did you find Cold helping getting more bClk ?
What are the chances of getting similar results on this board ?

thank you Fox, cold actually helped me around 10mhz clocking the bclk. i guess with a D0 chip 230bclk is not a big business still on air with this board...
splmann made also same high bclk with different D0 chip...

sure, the UK guys and Raja showed us -180C working on i7 920 D0 chip, but actually bclk limiting these chips, and it aint really gain from more cold so dont need to cool them so much down, but i will check it next time on ln2 again...
