RAM: OCZ (Special Ops Edition) 2x1GB DDR2 @ 800MHz 4-4-4-12
only 1.5kg seems kind of light for an i7 bencher, unless you dont mind big swing.
Talking to my editor, going to try and get one of these as a review sample. Will compare it to an F1EE if I get it. I already suspect this pot will be a great intro pot but get stomped with Core i7 and Phenom II under LN2. Will try to test both under Ln2 and dry ice if my editor likes the idea and Koolance will send me a pot.
Looks very decent for a price tag of ~ 105€ ($145). Should give a hard time to all the DIY pot builders around the globe

* AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4890
* AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4870
* AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 (two VID-LN2-V2 are required)
* AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4850/4770
* NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295
* NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285
* NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275
* NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
* NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX
On the phone with Koolance right now. On hold *yawn* first guy sounded receptive to sending me one for review, being bumped up to the product manager.
Product manager is out to lunch. Of course I would call at noon in California Left a message, will have an answer in about an hour I suspect.

not interested in that CPU one at all
but the GPU one is anther story
how much are those?

It says that it fits to 295GTX, so it has to be a newer rev pot. If I remember correct, they had a similar pot long time ago...
Vmods - what can possibly go wrong? ©
Koolance got back to me, they'll be sending a CPU-LN2 for review. I've got a Phenom II X4 955, Core i7 920(CO ), and a Core i7 975. I plan on measuring the delta between the IHS and the pot base while testing with dry ice and LN2. The tests I plan on using will be SPi 1M/32M, 3DMark 2005, 3DMark 2006, 3DMark Vantage, and wPrime 32M/1024M. Does anyone else have any requests for tests or procedures?
edit: will be comparing against the F1EE.
If they want to send me a pot, I'll include it in the review. My interest/angle will be about how the pot is a great intro pot and how it stands up to one of the best pots on the market. I have high hopes for this pot as it is significantly cheaper than any other pots that I know of.
LOL this pot againt F1EE = FAIL!
who cares really
how often do you buy a CPU pot
i dont think that a CPU pot cost is that big a deal....GPU maybe as you do have to facilitate for new bloody holes all the time
what poor bastards on XS will do is end up buying these lame ass pots and then after they get into it seriously will realise its PITA and THEN buy something proper........wasting money on the initial purchase
i've gone through this myself
Well I'd say don't judge the pot yet and remember it's price. I myself knew I'd be doing a ton of benching so I bought an F1EE after figuring 20 bench sessions in a year put the pot cost at $20/session, acceptable for me. There are other guys out there though that might bench 5 times in a year and can't swallow the $400 pot cost + $300 dewar cost and instead opt for dry ice and a $150 pot. For the same reason that everyone doesn't own a TRUE with 190CFM deltas
