Im using a Heatkiller AM2 waterblock in my other pc and it's a very good block

    The surface is very smooth.

The only problem is that the distance between the holes for the fittings is very short and tou cant mount very big fittings to the block

some fun and amateur comparison temps. Please excuse the quick job. I used OCCT to compare and photoshopped the graphs together.

Apologies if this has already been talked about in another thread, but does anyone know what the non-copper midplate thing is made of? Looks like stainless steel at first glance.

Yeah, stainless steel. I have been using a few of the LGA1366 CU versions on various i7 builds for the last 1,5 months, and all I can say is I love them
Haven't really compared with the others tho, but judging by the temps I have been getting they do rock. Also a standard Eheim pump is enough to make these perform, no need for all that high flow crazyness

So does anyone know specifically how restrictive the HK 3.0 is?

I'm guessing somewhere in between the EK Supreme and Apogee GTZ. But that's judging only from pictures.
