thats right, but it isn`t easy at all. I`m working on this since few weeks on my stage and in needs much finetuning. R50 is a strange and difficult refrigerant but it is interesting to work with

    Good luck Unrockstar!

Oh my gosh How are you going to find a leak in all of that if there is one? Are you pressure testing as you go?

    Congrats on the challenge.

Am I the only one concerned about that evap? Even just blasting refrigerant at the base, wouldn't it be terribly inefficient? Why not a beefy maze or stepper?

The refigerant means are injected into the evaporator Collecting to themselves like with a pot LN2 below. I Having the design electively around later an Capacity regulation to use and to compensate temperature variations

This beast is absolutely the sickest cascade I have ever seen. Best of luck with building this monster! But I also think your evap is pretty inefficient.

Do I see 7 compressors for 5 stages? Are the blue compressors working in parallel, two for the first stage and two for the second stage?

Are all those blue things on the bottom shelf compressors?

I figured as much but I'd still have concerns in using that in a refrigeration system. Really looking forward to seeing how that evap performs.

Wow. There's some serious work to do. Eagerly awaiting loaded temps when finished. IMHO looks are secondary when creating such a monster.

    Viel Erfolg, Kamerad!

    @ polizei

    there are "only" 5 compressors.
four blue maneurop compressors in the lower level and one rotary on top.
the other black things you can see are expansion tanks to lower the pressure of the stages when the unit is off.

Woops. Scrolling through quickly, they looked like compressors.
