sick man ... that cascacde will push some things huh
keep pushing it
Oh my gosh How are you going to find a leak in all of that if there is one? Are you pressure testing as you go?
Congrats on the challenge.
I'm speechless!!! This is going to be GREAT!! Can't wait to see it finished and running!! Don't envy you your power bill...that monster is going to slurp some watts!!

More & more very expensive, quickly obsolete parts!!
Am I the only one concerned about that evap? Even just blasting refrigerant at the base, wouldn't it be terribly inefficient? Why not a beefy maze or stepper?
The refigerant means are injected into the evaporator Collecting to themselves like with a pot LN2 below. I Having the design electively around later an Capacity regulation to use and to compensate temperature variations
This beast is absolutely the sickest cascade I have ever seen. Best of luck with building this monster! But I also think your evap is pretty inefficient.
Do I see 7 compressors for 5 stages? Are the blue compressors working in parallel, two for the first stage and two for the second stage?
Are all those blue things on the bottom shelf compressors?
Fine example of German engineering!!!

You know who else likes VWs? (new beetle san). That evap is INSANE!
Wow. There's some serious work to do. Eagerly awaiting loaded temps when finished. IMHO looks are secondary when creating such a monster.
Viel Erfolg, Kamerad!
@ polizei
there are "only" 5 compressors.
four blue maneurop compressors in the lower level and one rotary on top.
the other black things you can see are expansion tanks to lower the pressure of the stages when the unit is off.
That...thing...is...monsterous.
ETA on some results?

Seems like those blue Maneurops are very trendy in DE . I have one MTZ40 for sale (new) if anybody needs .
I've very interested about results. For sure big MINUS is that cascade can't be bring in any other place .
