I admire your balls, but IMHO it doesn't look at all good. By losing the contrast between the PCB colour and that of the components on the board, you lose something from the appearance.

Those are about to get colors, but I think it looks cool as hell as it is.

I'm going to paint my cards too. Thought about the blocks and was going to color them. Yet, I did look how they looked stock on this.
    ---
Had to lower my PLL voltage. Might of saved during the wrong loop when tweaking ram...IDK I hate this chip I need to throw in the quad.

Also made my ram timing a little better. up the voltage there just a tad

    Still running prime no issues.
    8mins

    It was set to high....

    ---

I also have full coverage water blocks that I need to fix and install on the cards. The dang stands were to high and didn't touch the core....My luck all 3 of the blocks didn't. This is what DangerDen sent for me to do testing with. Also had one that leaked all over the board BAD(it did not boot for 2 weeks after cleaning it) only when the loop was turned off. SO when I tested it is was all good to go.
God I was pissed..(this is a retail board I paid for)....Didn't even send them an email.....

I would still shop there, and I just think I happened to get in on a bad batch of blocks.

I cant tell how I feel about the painted board, do try to get some well lit pics from a real camera, preferably daylight/sunlight lit pics so we can get a good look at it.

I'm glad it works good, I may paint my motherboard with this clear-neaon white spraypaint I've got. goes on clear, glow bright white under UV lighting....

I need to take pics with my good camera.went to get batteries tonight, and made it home with coke, cookies, this paint, and noooo which is why I went...the one with it installed is from my cell phone which sucks.....It looks really cool!!!!

I love 7. I was starting to like vista until I ran this. I don't think I will install it ever again. Me Vista is what the name should of been. Vista should be like this o/s.

How far should I take it

I'm thinking all over the board and not on the chips with the silver. Red on chips, and another on caps.

I feel sorry for a lot of the chips, they're going to be insulated by the paint.

Careful with the glitter, some of it could be metal flakes.

Been feeling around they don't feel hot at all. True they are....Could this protect me from a water leak is what I want to know....

Yes I have thought about that also. I have sprayed a a peaice of paper with that pant and colored the glitter on there. To see what it would look like in UV. I guess I could go to there site and see what it is made of.

    Thanks.

Just working on the case, and painted the caps black as best as I could for now.

It looks amazing to me. It just not feel like a real computer part, and that's the best part for me.

Nice job with the masking and final look. I was going to say to use Dupli-Color, but the Krylon came out fine.

surely paint etc on vregs, caps, resistors is gonna cause them to heat up significantly. Possibly lowering ur overclocks and reducing component life?

I must admit, its eXtreme.. its crazy. But sorry, it doesnt look good, I guess it would be nice, if it will be only PCB in white.. and that would be really difficult.. (or maybe not.. covering everything possible and removing paint from rest.. ).

It will protect from water a bit, but if there are gaps or holes in the paint then you are vulnerable. Still better than nothing.
