I have encounter 2 problems with this board:

1. Similar to the cold boot issue, for one time I tried to restart the computer and it ended up not posting. Reset CMOS button on the back saved the day.

2. A very strange problem I have never experience so far. I turn on my computer like usual and get BSOD. Then I look into the BIOS and the settings are all messed up, all the voltages are set to extremely high at the point where computer shuts itself down after few seconds into booting.

I just flashed my bios to 1504, hopefully these problems are truly fixed like they claim.

It's a 3849A916. Testing it at 4.2ghz now, last linX errored at 1.25 vcore. After about 5min. Gonna try crank it up to 1.27/1.28 next.

I'm running Win7 release candidate and I decided to switch out the Asus sound solution for an X-Fi PCIe in the bottom-most slot but ended up having to switch back. It seems Creative's Win7 drivers aren't ready for prime time yet. With them and the card installed, I get crasing with the same BSOD in all games. The BSOD relates to a directx file. I tried re-installing the directx end-user runtime but that didn't help. With the stock soundcard and the default Win7 driver, everything works as it should.

Anyone here running a UCLK of 4000 or above? This usually happens when you run your ram at 2000Mhz. Also what DDR3 Ram are you running? Thanks in Advance.

Thanks for the fast reply. Can you tell me what qpi voltage you running? Also are there any other settings that you modified to get there? Actually a bios template of your settings would help. I can get close, I was able to get the blades to 1915Mhz stable but as soon as I choose 2000Mhz I get kicked out of windows or reboot BSOD. I'm guessing my old c0 chip can't run with a uclk of 4000 or above(Just got the OCZ Blades c9 two days ago and have been trying to get to 2000Mhz ever since).

Just tell her it needs to be a S-Spec SLBEJ (D0).

I have the exact same issue.. just updated my BIOS with the 1504 one on the first page so fingers crossed it works..

@ trt740... The cold boot issue is as much as described above.. turning off the mains leads to an unstable OC where either the PC won't boot properly or gives BSOD's... In my case I'm only getting the BSOD's..

Buying a D0 will not solve your problem !!!

So your D0 can only get you to 888(1776)? If you tried 14x143 does it get into windows? I can only get to 953(1915) with the OCZ Blades. Thanks in advance. Man I was about to hit the buy button. I'm glad you posted.

It's g.skill trident pc1600, but its not a problem with your ram. It's the uncore which gets unstable at 4k, just need to push more volts. Its not that uncommon.

I noticed Kensek is using 1.53v for vcore and qpi of 1.50-155v as well as 1.7v for vdimm. I'll give those values a try again. Maybe I missed something. Thanks.

I wouldn't be running 1.5+ 24/7. But that's just me though, i prefer staying under 1.4 and not over 75-80c. Unless its for benching.

I'm under water and with 10 3000rpm 120mm Fans blowing on all the Hardware in an Open Case in a Cool 68 degree Farhenheit Basement.

I'm running Windows 7 RTM x64 (MSDN member) and my X-Fi Platinum works perfectly. Actually, it sounds better than it ever did on Vista.

Hey guys..... i have one question.... well as soon as Win 7 final is released I'm planning to buy two OCZ 60GB Vertex TURBO SSDs and set up Raid 0. The problem is.... i've never did that before ( to set up raid with RIIE).... so.. when i plug both drives into SATA connector what then?
