    Suspected misread

so i was looking at a couple things today when i noticed something a little out of the ordinary, im currently running @ 533x8 (set in bios) but, My Computer -> Properties AND 3dMark06 both report my CPU speed to be that of 533x9. CPU-Z reports that i am running 533x8.

does cpu-z just read off of the bios or is that indeed the correct speed im running at. as i am using a modified bios for my motherboard (M2F) could it be that even though i am setting the multi @ 8 that it is booting @ 9? really just trying to figure this one out.

Its fine, always take CPU-Z's word, I have had this issue for as long as I can remember, the other programs just assume your running at max multiplier all the time.

Core 2 Duo(Conroe) was based on the Intel Core Duo(Yonah) which was based on the Pentium M(Banias) which was based on the Pentium III(Coppermine).

Core 2 Duo is a Pentium III on meth.
