Please remove my testing from your spreadsheet. I vehemently disagree with your methods of estimation and as such, I would prefer my data to not be included with your estimator.

I feel my data can stand on its own....if someone wants to know how a block scales with flow, my data says it plainly with no mathematical BS. If you want to know how blocks compare, my data says it plainly with no mathematical BS.

This spreadsheet is quite useful and fun to play around with. Though I wouldn't make purchasing decisions off it alone.

I have corrected an error of formulation of the spreadsheet.
    The preceding version is wrong!
Sorry but the spreadsheet it becomes complicated more and more.

This is just awesome...super stuff and thanks a lot. Helped me to make my decision.

Edit: Is it possible to check with AP18's in the fans...

    Thanks for the update Andrea.

    Small question:

Would it be possible to update your spreadsheet to include calculations for up to two CPU blocks per loop/system, and also allow up to 4 GPU blocks per loop? Right now it seems to only allow one CPU block and two GPU blocks per loop. Unless there is a way to work around this I haven't seen?

Martin's old spreadsheet was pretty handy in this manner because it allows for two CPUs and up to 3 GPU blocks. With things like the SR-2 and Quad SLI out there now, I think it would be valuable to make loop estimations that include 2 CPUs and up to 4 GPUs. I don't know if it's possible, but it would also be cool to have serial vs. parallel flow calculations for the GPU blocks. What do you think?

    Thanks.

    Watercooling Spreadsheet update !

    Versione : 2011 V.01 (beta test)

    ****

    RPM > CFM Fans selected

    RPM > Decibell Fans selected

    ***
If the noise of a fan is 39 db
the noise of 3 fan is :
    Total decibell = 10*LOG 10(N°fans *(10^(decibell single fan/10))
    Total decibell = 10*LOG 10(3*(10^(39/10)) = 43,7 db

The latest version of the spreadsheet contains an error:
The Water Block Tested by CoolingTechnique Lab (CTL) give incorrect results.
For this reason I decided to radically revise the formulas for transposition
between tests on CPU and tests on thermal simulation (CTL)

Difference of temperature level between Matins Liquid Lab (MLL) - (i7 2600 k @4,8 ghz 1,392 vcore)
and CoolingTechnique Lab (CTL) - thermal simulation at 300 Watts :

The ∆ T (difference between CPU temperature and water temperature) of MLL is given by:
    [C°/W (thermal resistance) IHS CPU + C°/W TIM + C°/W Water Block] * Watts.

The ∆ T (difference between thermal simulation temperature and water temperature) of CTL is given by:
    [C°/W (thermal resistance) thermal simulation + C°/W TIM + C°/W Water Block] * Watts.

The TIM C°/W and The Water Block C°/W MLL and CTL are the same.

I calculated that the difference between the thermal resistance CPU IHS MLL
and the thermal resistance thermal simulation CTL is : ∆ C°/W = 0,14067006

    Then the difference between ∆ T MLL and ∆ T CTL to 100 watt is : 14,06 C°
    to 197 Watts is : 27,712 C° (1,406 C° x Watts) !

In addition to this ,after the following test CoolingTechnique Lab (CTL) on fans in PUSH PULL
I have reviewed the spreadsheet formula

    delta T (normal Fans) = 1.3 x delta T push pull at 500 RPM
to go down to 2700 RPM : delta (normal Fans) = 1 x delta T Pusch pull Equal performance

    Radiators:
to simplify the abbreviations of radiators:
    3 x 120 = Radiator with 3 120mm fans
    2 x 120 = Radiator with 2 120mm fans
    1 x 120 = Radiator with 1 120mm fans
    3 x 140 = Radiator with 3 140mm fans
    3 x 140/120 = Radiator with 3 120mm or 140mm fans
    etc.

The radiators marked with * are extrapolated
    with the simple formula = 3x120 radiator = ( 2x120 radiator + 1x120 radiator)
    not the highest accuracy

    A big update coming soon
