Anyone else noticed that when logging in, you have to do it twice to work?

I ALWAYS have to refresh the screen when I log in (when I ditch my cookies that is) in order to see my sign in....

You don't have to do it twice...but the forum does not actually refresh the Index page after you login, so it re-displays the same page that showed you "not logged in", you just need to hit refresh and you will be logged in.

Well if you get a popup that tells notifies you of a new pm (AND YOU CAN READ ALL OTHER PM'S THROUGH THIS POPUP), try doing this:
-make sure popups from XS are allowed
-not sure if you have to enable it through user CP, but make sure popup on new PM is enabled.
-most importantly: send yourself a PM right now, so the popup comes up.

Also get the same error, but I'm not willing to put in this kind of work to see if this will change anything (this method has 2 possible faults. 1. you can't read all pm's through that popup. 2. popup on new pm is not a userCP thing, but is automatic).
doubt this will help... Happy June 3rd anyway everyone

    No can do.

aspire.comptech has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

If you are trying to send this message to multiple recipients, remove aspire.comptech from the recipient list and send the message again.

I got that same error and I can't figure out why.

As far as my user cp is concerned all the options are checked to allow pm's...

Yes same for all. You can still access the send new message area (click on a persons name in any post and you get a menu with options one of which is send message) and send messages but no one can get to their user cp area.

    You can, thats easy.
Up next to the link that says "Private Messages" in the top right corner of the screen, there's a button called Quick Links down under it. Click it, then Edit Signature.
Once you edit it, and hit save/submit, you'll get the usual error, but it will save it.

Fugger is in Taiwan, Server is in Las Vegas.

If the issue is not fixable by remote, then it has to wait until:

    1) Fugger arranges for someone to go to server
    2) Fugger gets back from Taiwan (next weekend?)
