    Which HD is best????

    The original hd 80Gb (most prob a deskstar or something) is dying on me. I have to change it........what would be a good choice???? (not a Hitachi or fujitsu they have to many pbs)

    Is it pata or sata? If it's sata, go with a SSD.

    Is it a desktop replacement or are you always unplugged? If its a desktop replacement, then I would get a 7200rpm drive for performance (or SSD). If its unplugged, I would go 5400 or SSD.

    Ok......i finally opted for a 160gb Momentus (seagate) pata........we'll see what its worth.
