Small Case: Big Cooling (Wet PC-v600)

It looks like the small cases are back in style.

I really liked the PC-v1000, but it was just too big for my needs.

Here is a sneak peak at a PC-v600 that is getting water cooled.

{PMS}fishy: how much voltage can we give it?
Gautam: as much as you want

    Trouble Shooting 101:
    1. RTFM
    2. Repeat Step 1

Wow thats cleanly fitted! Nicely done, keeping your optical bay there but also still able to have HD's in there.

Will you be posting more detialed photos on this?

I think small is best, uber powerfull systems in small cases look great. I have 3 PC's in my front room all small units but all pack a punch and do varying things!

Only thing puts me off with these cases is PSU location, WC block and tube bending can be a PITA, 3/8'' should sort it and no need for any 90* bends at all!

I'll be using an Apogee Drive due to the lack of space between the PSU and CPU. It doesn't look like a regular block would fit with standard fittings. Only about 8cm between IHS & PSU.

I'll post more pictures as I progress.

Ooo you got me there. I never for the life of me though of doing that. Pretty dam cool idea you got and great use of the product as well as the fact you now get the pump/block on it's own!

So the RAD thats there now, that 120.2 res version with the Apogee Drive kit?

    Just CPU only on WC?

The res version is too tall, Im just using the non-res MCR220QP. Plus the DVD drive would block the fill port, rendering the feature useless.

The parts were all bought used, not part of a kit. I didn't need anything other than the pump & rad.

For now I will just be cooling the CPU, but I have all the required parts to cool the video card if needed.

looks good, but i think you should(if you're not already doing it) cut that white think in the front of the radiator, it will reduce a lot your air flow. If not, just take out the part with the holes, the rest is fine...

Probably will remove that lower section. I don't want to lose too much or the structure.

Here is a minor update. Sorry the pictures aren't that great. The flash washes them out, and the room is too dark with out it.

btw, can you relocate the PSU to go underneath the HD, optical drive? That will show off the hardware nicely

Nope, thats where the tubing from the rad goes, & where my other HDD rack goes. I still need to do more work.

Am I the only one who can't see the pictures?
    EDIT:
Strange thing, back then I tried a few times with both IE and FF and saw "no image" icon with IE / nothing with FF.
Then I reinstalled system and now everything looks fine with the same FF as previously.

Fishy, love the case, i actually have it for my wife's PC... but one thing i really hate bout the case is the damned PSU over CPU thing...

you sure you cannot fit a D-Tek in there while utilizing elbows?

my stock HSF on my Athlon X2 4800 is beginning to annoy me...

great mod... i may have to take my wife's PC and get some mod done...

I didn't want to have to find space for a pump and a block. I'm sure something could have fit, this just seemed to solve two problems at once.

Wow, I would never have thought you could get watercooling to look so clean in such a small case. Nice work my friend...
