GREAT JOB!!! Is LN2 dielectric? With all these damn heating problems you need to build a kit around this whole card and submerge it in LN2 it seems hahaha

Use plastik 70 spray, no need for such fancy insulation and your components on the card can actually breath.

I have plastic sprayed, but also prefer to use teh insulation to avoid the dripping/frosty mess that Singapore weather creates

If the system is only for testing then remove all insulation and submerge it in mineral oil with the tops of the pots emerging out and then all you got to do is pour in the LN2... No more over heating, no more condensation, nothing.
    Do i get a hallelujah!

42.5x42.5 mm and ~60mm diagonal.. thats the info i got..

I don't vote for the fullcover idea, kinda hard to insulate.

    Duniek, this should help.
Its the dimensions i used, as measured from the backside of the card.
It doesnt show the 42mm square mounting holes around cores, nor the cores themselves.

That's a very nice idea, T_M, but at the moment i see no point in using nitrogen on HD3870X2. Card needs some serious voltage regulation modification, its simply too weak to power two chips.

Nicely done, i would prefer mounting on chips directly while cooling the bridge chip with some aluminum self-adhesive cooler.

IMO you will have heat issues with that plate (and definately the foam), in particular the vreg/inductor area in the middle/top.
Also LOL at you putting teh same curved corner as mine
