    dfi motherboards....

    what is the difference between the dfi lanparty ut sli-dr, lanparty ut sli-dr expert, and lanparty ut sli-dr venus?. is it just the features or are they all the same with just more added stuffs.

    the sli-dr has the older DFI layout with the memory above the cpu socket and the Venus has better capacitors

    i guess you will find venus only on dfi site ( as picture )

    Except there wasn't really a different with bh5, both my ultra-d's clocked UTT/bh5 just as well as my expert.

    i got the dfi lanparty ut sli-dr and dfi lanparty ut sli-dr expert. when i went to the website my expert looked exactly like the venus which i saw on the website so i thought i had a venus. but when i booted it up it said it was an expert so i got an expert, now i know pictures can lie sometimes :S.

    The only difference between Expert and venus are the cap's. if you look closely I bet you'll see the difference.

    If I recall the expert wasn't really good w/tccd but there was a modded bios that helped.
