Just signed up. i have a crazy past that involves my X-fiancee battling cancer. She is "cured" now (thanks to a bone marrow transplant) BUT we both went through hell last 2 years. We even split up right before she went to get her transplant this past December. (her choice)

I will do what i can in this project.

A gentle hug..Don't want to break anything..I'd send a pic but that would scare her back into the hospital!

we all know people with cancer i have just a little more personal conection with it. and i never want anyone to experience what i had to go through. the way i see it is that every one of us is saving thousands of lives. to me it's totally worth it. and not to mention this great group of guys (and gals) i get to talk to and share my computing (and sometimes non computing) experiences with.

    right on.

i spent the last 10 years with i though was my soulmate. she was diagnosed 2 years ago. we passed off 2 wedding dates so she can decide on if she wants to keep on the meds she was on to keep the cancer at bay or go for the transplant with a 20% chance of mortality. Do not KNOW the REAL reason why we are not together this day but like i said eariler. we broke right before she went into her transplant phase.

Today we are the best of friends. the love is still there but it is different now. guess she moved on sort of. heh.

My heart & prayers go out to anyone who has been through, going thought, or has lost somone dear to an illness.
