Well i´ve been chrunching for almost a year with my powerhog of an p4 prescott. But time to turn it´s working hours and make space for my brand new dualcore lappy (2ghz core2duo t7300, with 2048 mb of ram), constantly running at minimum 50% in normal use (not so resource hungry games and webbrowsing ect.) and full load with screensaver running. Works like a charm, is more silent and isn´t pumping out a dang amount of heat

We'll take any and all. Toss it into the big XS pot!

Ordered a VERY SHORT-LIVED deal from allstarshop.com where they had Q6600 G0's for $295 shipped, once it arrives (assuming this goes better than my ClubIT "In Stock" order over a week ago) it'll replace my E6300. The E6300 may be able to live on and continue crunching along, though, but it may take a little help from the scrap parts thread...

10 days 80K pts, not bad @ all, little less then 10K a day thats quite good.

20pts a day based on what the pic shows.

We've been challenged in a race to 55 mil by team PCQandA but still I can't get the numbers running it.

I think many drifted elsewhere, probably cos of my own wandering.

That and the fact that we are only a small DC team and it's hard work keeping in touch at the vault......gets resources spread pretty thinly.

Still plan on making the top 10 there again though.

Your lot may be a big team but we sure are a big little team

Plus half my WCG crew run the Base Camp treks to help out other teams and stuff.

If your running Folding at home on a dual xeon you'll have problems running both..Folding at home is a good app..Don't want to tear you away from them..

I really appreciated the e-mail Movieman So I decided my Single-core Pentium M will be a either doing WCG or Folding. I think it's something everybody should do, especially those with quad-cores as this is not amusement, this is trying to encover one of Earth's most feared deseases.
I registered for the XS-team and working now. When I get my new setup I'm sure to get projects running on it.
