Can someone with a Dlx measure the PLL and FSB VTT points and tell me what readings you get at minimum BIOS setting for them (not AUTO) and then 1 or 2 steps up? Neither of the voltages I measure on those legs on the Prem ever change no matter what I set the Vpll or FSB Term to in BIOS. No one else here seems to have done the mods on a Prem yet, so I am curious if I just need to look for different measure points on the Prem or if I need to dig further than that.

See my thread here for additional info/pic of the Prem board if you can help out

You should try to do vsb mod, cause your vfsb read point is actually SB readpoint. (in your thread -picture 1) Mod point is under the PCI-E connector.

Vpll mod is working right on my P5K dlx, so maybe you just try it on premium and let us know if it works. If I remember right, the ohm value in mod point was 1.1Kohm. I have the right values somewhere if you need them.

That seems pretty weak for sure. Mine is right on the money (2.30V set = 2.298V measured), but 2.55V setting = 2.59V actual. NB is the same, right on at lower settings and a bit of an overvolt at higher (1.80V setting = 1.89V actual).

Sorry about the noob question, but could somebody tell me EXACTLY where to put the red lead, and exactly where to put the black lead, for measuring vCore based off of

...this is my first time using a multimeter and I have no clue where to even start.

Hi, i want to know what Vcore i´m using.
I pute 1.225v in BIOS, and get 1.19 idle and 1.184v Load
On my DFI 965P Infinity Dark-s this CPU needed 1.221v to pass Orthos.
But i became confuse with this new mobo.

You can see what i'm talking about in this pic.

The Vdroop mod in the other thread is wrong.
    Here is the right place.
Before mod it reads 48Kohm after 20.5Kohm
    With q6600@3600
    Before
    bios------idle------load
    1.5v | 1.474v | 1.448v

    After
    bios------idle------load
    1.475v | 1.480v | 1.464v

In my previous post the resistor marked with yellow, I've used HB pencil to take it down to 20.5Kohm and it did the trick.

It should be, virtualy it's the same board. Measure with multimer the resistor if it reads 48-49Kohm then it must be the same.

I have tested PLL voltage up to 2.4V without any problems. So ~2.0V-2.4V should be safe enough.
You are as good as your samples are!

You can use 50Kom in parallel the resulting resistance should be around 25Kom, according to my calculations (original resistance is ~48Kom).

    Best Regards.
