Here is my new LN2/DICE container, i will test it this weekend.
I don't like press system for ALU/CU so i decide that i will make it with ''screw''. Next week i will get some special orings to pot them between ALU/CU
Best Regards

Gotta say thats damn professional machining. What aluminium grade is used in that alu bottom? Would be intresting to know the temp difference between alu and copper versions with dryice.

Hey thanks, yes machining is really nice but that is not CNC, it is simple lathe. I will test both of those pots and i will tell you results.

I thought about the threaded joining before, nice to see how it can be done .
I suppose there isn't much advantage though (apart from it being very stable of course), considering if you're using LN2 you wouldn't really have the base part filled completely, and if using dry ice your acetone/ethanol mix would only be a small amount in the base too, so it's not like there will be any chance of leakes.
WOW superb job there!!
If you can put some center pole in that pot, then I will buy one from you for sure
Let me know if you can do one to me with 50mm high and 20mm wide center pole and with those steps in the bottom

The Laws of Thermodynamics say:

First Law: "You can't win."
Second Law: "You can't break even."
Third Law: "You can't quit the game."
Do you wanna Play Thermodynamics ???????? I forgot "you must"

Could not agree any more Merly pointing out the fact that the man does not charge sky high prices for his work, Thus implying that to borrow one for testing isOriginally Posted by wdrzal
