    Best batch? (e6600)

What is the best batch. an A batch, B batch, F batch or a 76 batch?(for overclock)
There are much batches, but i don't know which are best. Let's say i can choose which i want, which is the best then?(can you give a list, so 1st: B, 2nd: F etc.?)

In reality its hard to say what is the BEST. People like to say "B" series are the best, but then again some "B" chips wont go as high as "A" chips. Most "B's" will scale higher with less voltage wish is a good thing, but that is "hit or miss" I have a L630A832 E6600 and it is pretty damn good. 3.57GHz @ 1.4125 (actual in windows is 1.38V) So take that with a grain of salt. "F" series chips I dont know much about, however I think there from the phillippens and I dont think they scale well. Did any of this help you?

L630A753 seem to be one of the best batches so far.
I had a whole box of those and all of them have done 4G on air with less than 1.5V vcore

That's nice. Did you have a box of L630A's or a box of L630A753?
Because i thought(/think) the 3 digits after the letter doesn't matter, is that right?

I guess A and B are best, F and 7 being crap; at least that's what I heard; my C2D experience is limited to two "A" chips.

i mailed a couple of shops and one did already applied.
    They didn't had a B or a F, but only a A.
They don't have a 30A, but a 34A. someone knows if this clocks good?

BTW it's all about an E6600

It can be hard to buy early weeks form retailers now; I guess all hew been sold and now you can only buy new weeks like 634. I bought mine 632 in first week of January and it was the oldest week I could find in retail in Poland.

me! What voltage is it running? I'm tempted to pump 1.7v through this POS and see if it even boots

it's on 1.65v in bios(non modded p5b dlx), so real a bit lower.
So this is a nice one? If so, i will buy this on.

Or will a 30A or something do better?(or same on less volts)
I don't know howmuch volt it needs for 4ghz(so i could compare it). Does someone knows how much(not exactly offcourse, but approximately) volts it need on 4ghz, if it can do 4.3ghz on 1.65(bios) volt?

    that's nice, i hope i can do that on that processor of 4300mhz. It's a 29b.

Should i get that or mail some shops about L630A? And are the 3 digits after the "A" useful?

    I've found a store that sells L631B120.
    is that a good batch?

So the 29b does on 1.64v on chilled water 4300mhz.
But i don't know what 31b does. If i look at this thread, it's an insane batch:

    http://xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=126445

I don't know which i want, de 29B, or the 31B? What is a better stepping?
So would you guys go for a sure 4300mhz(1.64v and chilled water) or a guess and maybe a better, but maybe a worse 31b?
