World Record Intel P4 3200

Hardware:

Motherboard: AA8XE FATALITY
cpu: INTEL PENTIUM 4 540 J
ram: CORSAIR XMS 2 2X256 MB 675 MHZ
cooling cpu: CO2
cooling chipset: Standard from abit
scheda vga : ABIT X600PRO UGURU

I make excuses myself for my English bad one, unfortunately the bench is lasted a lot little approximately 1 hour, is for time lack that for one insufficient insulation . Just for this I have not tried to improve super pi but to try the frequency.

You will have to be insane to use that machine for 24/7 and to try to make it Prime stable. :stick:

Topic is bit misleading... i dont know if this is even fastest 540 ever but it sure isnt fastest p4. I think xtremesystems folk use WR term too lightly. I personally categorize processors in these casts at the moment:

AMD Xp
AMD A64
Intel P4
Intel Dothan

So here people sort of make their own classes (fastest AFXIH for example) and do lots of world records in them. But what do i know ive never made any records and propably ever will :rolleyes:

well i ahve a 540j and when i get my chilly1 well duke it out, i already have a better superpi than you. I can do 4.32 on water@ 45c.


Edit, if i have time today ill chill the water a bit down to a couple (c) above ambient then ill see if i can get 4.5

i note my cpu was realy lucky, 4450 mhz whit dissi box , and benchable

what so 4.8 was on LN2? Shouldnt you be getting close to the normal 540, which is at 5.4?
