I dont know if this threed is in the right forum but if this is wrong forum, moderators please move it to the right forum.

WoW, nice, no needof using idle timer now, good stuff.

sweet, nice find man :)

Very great! Thanks for sharing!

Now we know who are the best of the bests;).

I hope this program will help us to show who is the best of the best as you say :)

I think its a good program and I will update you whit newer version when its out.
In my "homeforum" sweclockers this is big news and there will be update as soon as anyone complains about buggs.

well enjoy and big thanks to snq for this modded PI

great work. i like it.

finally :) Now all we need to do is make it cheat free.

this version actually is alittle more cheat free then the other version, cause of the fine measurement of the time, it's much easier to spot when someone uses some cheats on it. although, this program is still no where near the level I need before I can say it's more reliable then any other version of super pi.

however, the fine time reads do make it easier to spot some cheats, so thats atleast good. but still, it's just cool to see this working so smooth.

i really like this, because before i never knew how close i was to that next second. now i can set realistic goals for each build i have.

great find it was only this week I was wondering if something like this exsisted thx

Just perfect...makes it much easier finetuning your system....with this you actually see how much every tweak does for the performance. :toast: :toast:

i was searching for it in these days, great job man!

Great stuff!!

I had seen a screen of it somewhere already, can't remember where and i was wondering where to get it.

Thanks for sharing. :toast:

byebye process timer :D

Thanks a lot man! Now lets play with A64 Tweaker :D

Nice. Will help a lot with tweaks. I will post it on other forums I am on.

Hi there,

Lemme introduce myself real quick, I'm the guy who did this mod and whose real crappy test results you can see in the screenshots :D
Anyway, thanks for all the comments, great to see someone has a use for it!

What do you think can be done to make it more reliable/cheat free? If anyone has any ideas please post here and I'll see what I can do about it.

BTW the only code changed in this is the display/save code. I haven't touched the calculating code so it will give the same results as the regular superpi except more accurate of course :)

I don't like pifast :p:

Nice one, makes changes so much easier to see :D

Hope you dont mind, mirrored the file here If theres any problem with that, let me know and I'll remove the dl :)

Sure, thanks for the mirror :)
I've just finished a new version which will give correct results even when someone's trying to cheat. I only found one "cheating program" tho so I'm not sure how waterproof it actually is. If anyone could PM me a list of known slowdown programs I'd appreciate it!

Edit: will give correct results, not should ;)

SNQ, just PM kunaak and he will help you out, I'm 100% sure.

A new version is available with anti-cheating measures, download URL is the same but Kunaak asked me to start a new thread in the Xtreme PI area.
Here you go

great job! I had always wanted better than seconds because its not showing unless I overclock like 100MHz on the cpu in order to jump to the next second. I was unable to see any improvements with fine tune tweaks, only with major clocks so it took alot of the fun out, but you put the fun back in :D

well, I run both versions, the latest SuperPi version 1.1e with SS3 and the modded one. The modded one shows 34.12 seconds for my CPU and 1.1e shows 33 sec. He probably used the outdated, unpatched version of SuperPi.

same here, all the tricks and fine tuning never gave me a better time. But maybe with the milliseconds we can see now "something." :p:

Excellent work :toast:

Don't do a version for patched versions though is my advice, let the patchers do their own version ;)

This will take the fun out of it for the masochists who love to get the same number of seconds over and over again and beat themselves with sticks.

I love it though, now up to pifast standards for being a good test.

Regards

Andy
