2k1: ready for battle

Hello friends!
Today we are got new Gigabyte motherboards: P67A-UD5 and Z68X-UD7-B3. Now we are ready for battle in 3DMark2001. Today Smoke are pretested CPU. I hope tomorrow will be better results. On first day we get some runs in TOP-5. ;)

P67A-UD5 with F7 and 1:8 Hypers? ?

I think something is wrong with my Board :D I can't get 1:8 working with F5x, F6 and F7
just the B3 Modded BIOS'es help.

So dino I think you don't need to break your head any longer :D its just on my Board in this way

Kabauterman i dont know about problem with 1:8. Smoke only flashed this version and we are set 1:8. :D It is working.

TiN for great results need GTX275 Lightning or GTX280 "1200 MHz GPU clock

So when you buy 100pcs 2600K there is a good chance to find a 5,9+ CPU :D

A statistic for freaks. How do you sell so much cpu's. 2600k doesnt go very well on egay or something like this. So you can think you must sell every cpu with at least -50€ so this are 5000€ for 1 5,9ghz cpu. wow. nice work ;-)

Alltough i have been pretty lucky for my 1st and 2nd chip compared many others (1st=5.5Ghz ht on 2nd=5.4GHz ht on)

our friends from evga also have a 5.89ish-5.9ish but they have a lightning so its gonna be a uphill battle for our russian friends...

the battle is finding the lightning.... which i think is 99% of the battle LOOOL

if we solve problems with OCP and OVP, we can get a 133k on GTX285. Need more time)

Nope. 135k can be done with a decent 285 and the cpu speed these guys are showing.

yes, is full reference. We have troubles with black screen. For example, DL max run only 950 MHz on GPU, CL max run only 980 MHz, it is for 1,33v. But for Nature and 1020 MHz need 1,37v and higher, but in other test will be black screen.

The evga get good BCLK which in turn originates in good memories mhz... in my case helps a lot to improve some more point´s!

I think the best will be 285 given the cpu mhz where are walk ....


PS: Please vince use the 8600 6.6xmhz with the 275 lightning 1375 and make a run.......

Intersil on 285 is very easy to mod :)

1400 MHz for High tests, 1475 for Low tests and Nature. I think, that tomorrow will be better result, because we could get good fps DL and LL, but videocard freezed in Nature.

Best run for Nature was 1180/1480

We started to undestand what it need to go higher each run...
When you bench 5 hours non-stop you can feel the card)

There is no backups over here. Each "backup" score - is new benching session over here, to have correct WR-holder back :D
