Hi there dear watercoolers and crazyheads !

Like I've been showing in the wc-ed case gallery, there is my V1000b II Plus, I've been able to buy this case about 8 months ago, it stood in a corner just like that, but in my brains, the ideas were showing up, one by one ...
The good thing about is that I've got the windowpanel and the non windowpannel.

This is gonna be my spare/lan/allround/everything rig, but actually my 2nd pc, al the hardware from the stacker build moved to here, plans are dual loops, with 2 colors of funky or well passing tubing colors :).

I want to make it a tight pc, nice looking, bit of bling (BP love !).

Reason why I bought this was by coolfris' rebuild of his V1000, I want to make it all internal except the XSPC RX120 witch will be on the back.
Also, I don't want to screw this case, 'cause I'm havin' a sympathy for it.

That's the start, updates will follow very smoothly, 'caus it's almost finished, I just wasn't in the mood to translate the whole log in to english.

BTW, I also started allready with my V2000 build, so day 'n nite disappeared into a box (never gonna throw it away though, it carry's a lot of evolution, thinkering, first watercooling experience etc ...).

First off, I've got the same case for my old build and I love it - I'm still in love with it - I can't bear to part with it for my TJ-07.

What I did was hang a 120.3 "thin" rad in the top. This had the unfortunate effect of covering a PCI slot as well as the headers for the power button, etc. I had to make some extensions for that so I could plug things in. But I'll digress.

I wish I found this log BEFORE you cut your case up. I had recently come across a great design for this case in another thread and I think it would have worked excellently for you without having anything stick out/hang off of your case.

Move the PA120.2 towards the front of the case (green arrow) by trimming the front intake fan's support (green bracket). You can put another 120.1 rad on the other side of the basement (see the red corner outline sticking out). You could most likely squeeze in your two MCP30x pumps down in the basement under the yellow arrow - all while keeping the PSU from hanging out (as long as it's not those super long 1000W monstrosities). This would leave all your drive bays open to host HD/DVD Drives. Even if you needed to you could move one of the pumps to the bottom most 5.25" drive bays and still have plenty of room for devices.

I'm thinking of maybe using this on my next build ;) Or, you could hang a nice big PA120.3 from the roof and use a miniATX mobo and not have any collisions.

You can always replace your midplate as well. I made a new one for my case as I didn't like the large unused cable routing hole....

the idea of antioch is really nice, but this one knew allready some diffirent phases ...

@the status: now it's possible to have 6 hdd's into it and dual loops wc, with just the rx120 on the back (I don't mind, it's actually pretty cool, to feel the hot air coming out :D

Nice build, I know how tight space is when putting watercooling in them. I opted to just put one big rad across the top in mine.

This build makes me think anything is attainable with this case, nuce work!:up:

Update from the 8th of december 2009 – FUGLY

An update from time, I've been busy last friday, and also next friday I think.
I've ordered blue and yellow tubing and some other small stuff, now the yellow tubing is freakin' ugly, that you even don't want to look at it ...
That's the reason that I've placed a new order to solve this uglynessproblem :D

Furthermore I've changed the wc setup and there's even coming another surprise.
CPU-loop got my EK supreme CU and some deep blue tubing :)

Maybe I'm going to replace the E6750 with a Q6600 G0, but I'm not sure of that, this cpu is actually enough for what it has to do, 'cause it ain't crunching :)

Ahoi me pirates, watercoolers and other sneaky persons. Updatetime, 'cause me mad brains made it to come up with a fresh idea. Partly allready executed, just didn't made it to get to photographing ... :D.

So I ain't gonna tell it yet, to keep you all excited, what I can tell is that I have to sleeve the 2 PCI-e 6 pins cables, the 24 pin and 8 pin are replaced with presleeved pieces :crack:, I also got some new work at the front, but first we go to the building of my ordere stuff that came in.

Blingboooooy in the front. The BP thread converters are also ordered so I'll have to drain the loop when they're here, but had to anyway, 'cause there 's some dirt (a little oxidation dot :confused:) in my Wer grakablok, prolly still comes from the rad (pa120.3, maybe it catched some dirt when it was lying around for a few months and only 2 days of use :P

That was it, tonight probably more, otherwise when I'm back from Greece next week and then my 4 Gentle Typhoons 1850rpm in effect, a thin 1cm fan of Scythe and some splitter cables, once the PC then closed, he remains closed 'ntill Christmas holidays for the first Maintenance: D.
Then there comes a time when I don't want to spend any money on my PC, what do we do? AHA party all night long, sleep all day and going for teh chick's!

A bit too cluttered. Would be better if you could hide the pumps, while maintaining dual loops in such a small casing.

I don't mind to be able to se my pumps ;), in the early revisions they were in the basement, but since I'm hiding allready 6 hdd's in there ... :rolleyes:

But offcourse, everyone has his own taste ... It's a bit overvilled, but I can live perfectly with it, it's just a case of using the space you get :D

The no name BST converters walked away to a PA120.2 so the BP converters could get installed in their new home.

The cables up on top, were 'llready since the last update fitted neater. Like now it's ubahclean up in top. At least I'm still thinking to switch the size of tubing from the cpu-gpuloop to 7/16.

Oi, Here you have part 1 of the pictureupdate from the shoot@daylight. Also I wanted to say that I'm taking over 20 BP stubies 3/8 from Coolfris, they'll replace the Compressionfittings with 5/8 and koolance clamps (one of there good things imho), but same colors of tubing. The only thing is that the blue masterkleer I have is a tint lighter than the feser one, but not specificaly uglier.

Yes, 'cause if you watch closely, you see that it are 2 loops, and the 2nd loop without a radiator to exchange the heat to the air would be useless. A 240 would be either an overkill for the mobo and ram + with the 120 I'll have easy access to all my dvi, sound and other I/O connections ;)

I'm aware there is 2nd lopp. I meant this rad + second loop. Separate loop for ram and mobo is overkill itself, but after all this is overkillsystems.org :)
