i just kinda wish my utp35 would die n give me an excuse to get me one of those
-
very nice result congratulation :)
-
Awesome fsb well done most i have had from this board is 625 but with no ln2 can not expect any higher:rofl: Looked like alot of fun well done:up:
-
Thanks to all :)
scooter.jay: Both DKs i had ran 670@air with lots of playing, you should also get at least 650 with that
-
nice.. too bad they never built mobos for quads.. their main focus: duals
-
The boards also performs very well with quads but not with 3D Benches that is the real problem ;)
-
Move this to xtreme overclocking its world record !!
-
angoholic, can you post you settings for dfi? volts, gtls, mem....
-
Awesome :up::clap:
WTF hasn't someone moved this thread to the Xtreme Overclocking section?
-
@GraduS: Took about 2 complete days to find right GTLs :D 58/61/58@2D VDimm was about 2,75 only one pair of the Team went past 720 1:1..completely different.

hmm...63/63/58 better for my cpu)
you dont have problems with 2.75 vdimm? I can normal bench only with 2.3-2.4v.
how about this:
cpu amplitude
cpu clock0 skew
cpu clock1 skew
strap 400/800 or 333/666
ch1 skew
ch2 skew
rcomp
???
PS I past 1M @ 675fsb today: http://img156.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screen088.jpg

Yeah i have had some breif moments of more but nothing really stable but will try for more soon as have the board back to play with:up:
-
i observed that one DK goes worse with a bit too much voltage the other needs more but does higher fsbs. Clock Amp and Skews are like GTLs board and CPU specific, on this combo it was 900mv 100/0ps, on the other DK 800 200/0. Strap the 400 and the better fitting RCOMP 3-3-1 (0-0-2 goes better with 333 on both boards).
Safe Bootup at 670MHz prepared at air before :D
First test at dice gave me

and the brutal 690 :D

-
-
im more impressed with the rams~
it ran on airrrrr~
-
wow that fsb is ridiculous!
-
I knew I had a winner when I bought my 'PLUS' board

Vali
Now the Biostar is definitely retired although the 734MHz were rejected and not valid...and now with both cores :D goes for CPU Z Hall of Fame first place :)

Congratz man, like I said before...you are the best :D
-
That is a phenomenal FSB, great work and congratulations!
What vNB are you giving the board?
-
Congrats mate  this is absolutely insane :worship:
-
That FSB is soooo high, congratulations
Have same motherboard myself, and feeling smug about having it all of a sudden
Yeah, that is a great board.
-
Waow Congratulations for your WR
Does your rocket leave the ground ? :p:

Wow,amazing Fsb
Congratulations
-
germans these days...
:clap::clap::clap:
-
verry nice
pleeze share bios template:D
-
Big thx to all!!  :yepp:
Bios settings would be unusable because it would not even run on second DK...
-
This is AWESOME! Shame I just bought a Biostar:p:
What board revision do you have btw? (perhaps there is only one, but good to know anyway:p:)
-
wow just when i was losing my faith in DFI i see this Awesome news
BTW where did you score that ram i have been searching for a kit of it for a while
-
-
THX again mates :D
@knofplerbruce: I think the revision has not much to do with OC properties with this board.
@elev8rsh0es: You have to try kits that run ~>800MHz with dividers if they should go for >720 1:1 if you want 5-5-5-15 :D
Maybe the journey continues again, have still some unvalidated files :D
-
to give a short view..now a few weeks on vacation :D
