perfect
What is it made of Vincent? It sure looks sweet.
Don't suppose you have an image of the interior of the block?
Great work of art there, BP is sure to become a major player in the WC world.
That. Is. HOT! Very slick-looking. Now you need to make VRM and CPU blocks with that same style to keep the look consistent!
It's a shame they do not make something like this for the Blitz series for it's SB and Crosslinx chip. Do they make more of these for other NB/SB combinations or is this the first one?
Thanks,
Utnorris
Very sweet, I was drooling over the Aqua block and hoping to see it in the US, gald others here are seeing this as a option. I like only 1 block for the NB/SB it makes it alot easier to run tubing not having to confilct with the video cards. Can't wait to see some tests of this.
Very nice...
Wishing for a similar solution for the Asus 790i.
looks great
low profile tank :)
Vincent,
An Asus version would be wonderful. Do you have a solution for the mosfets ?
Woah that is awsome!
I need to know exact date of release! I will get this for my S2E for sure! Bye bye Evercool fan! :D
man, i can't wait
X38 Please!!! so i can use my bitspower compression fittings on them :D
Nice!
Can I have one for ASUS P5E64 WS Evolution please? :)
Wow, too bad I'm not a big fan of Nvidia chipsets because I'm definitely loving this block:up::up::up:!
Bitspower attck yeah
Hey Vincent, I hope you guys will be on the ball with the X58 and release a block for that simultaneously or close to release. Thats gonna be a godly overclocking platform :)
I NEED ONE OF THESE!!! Please be fast to market with these! I would take 2!
Ya..We already ready all MOS and S+N Block...Nvidia reference design and Asus...
Sure..They are on the way in production...We will ready all at the end of this month and reseller will have them at that time..
After 790i is finished...We will hae 780i as well..If there still a inquiry on this..We will do...
X38 maybe use our universal model...You will know that in next month..
If we have time to complete all of them...We will do..
Intel chip will have ...coming soon...
Now we are focus on this way..Myabe we can release at the same time with the new main board announced...We are just a new one in WB...
All are on our schedule...but we need to step by step..make sure all WB is in a very good condition...and then we will announce new WB fast..
This is our first one and two will be ASUS solution...more will depend on the inquiry..
Sure...It will come at the same time..already ready them...)
We are all on the way to make those...Full solution on 790i N+S and MOSFET..
Simply beautiful! Congratulations Vincent and BP! :D
Vincent, Quick question on the Mosfet blocks if you know. Are any being designed with backplates? Biggest issue with mosfet blocks is you cant screw them on securely without flexing the board a bit making the contact in the center mosfets bad or even lost. For being just a simple piece of hard metal with a rubber strip the same shape as it to go on top, im surprised more don't use that. (Ek made like 1 mosfet backplate for an asus board, was a long WB im assuming it was impossible to get screwed down without poor contact in the center ones)
MOSFET will have thermal PAD and we have our solution on that..
Add small parts can solve this problem..Thanks for the sugestion..
We have check XFX and EVGA own design..All can fit and no prblem...
Can you show me photos and I can know that more?
Hey Vincent
So there is going to be FOR SURE a block like this for the Striker II Extreme right?
Also, will Bitspower release mosfets compatible with the Striker II Extreme too?
Same with my EVGA 790i, my normal PCI sots are black and my memory slot colors are Gray and Black.
Same deal with caps, some look different and instead of a box type component next to the caps their the circle version with the copper wire wrapped around.
its most likely the same dimensions though, Nvidia is the kind of company that goes lowest bidder on the small stuff like that, and the lowest bidder changed mid way through (explains why they dont use solid state caps also).
Grr...
I'm chomping at the bit here to watercool my EVGA 790i, sitting on the fence over various different WB solutions, and now this!
I always thought the current southbridge solutions out there would prevent that middle x16 PCI-E slot from being usable. This looks awesome. Do I have to wait until august? :(
This block looks great.. but their website sure could use some work. The Bitspower website does show any watercooling products at all, and many of the links don't work.
Nice! How about a nice PWM cooler for the DFI LT/UT X48/X38, not many options there.:)
I might be interested in a 780i depending on price (probably going Nehalem around release so I dont see buying a block thats more then $50 or so to use just for 6months but it would be nice to get rid of the chipset fan).
Vincent,
谢谢。 我非常愉快!
nice vincent!!!!
The watercooling industry and going to by hit by a bitspower bomb :)
I've seen the products and they look fantastic!
Oh man, your using spacers on the screw between the Mosfet block and the motherboard aren't you? spaced just long enough where the block gets just the right amount of pressure on the Mosfets with the thermal pad, but still gets a fully tightened down mount on the motherboard.
Thats genius, I mean i assume thats what your doing, you mentioned small parts being able to solve the problem of having either a semi loose mount or a bowed mount, thats got to be it, thats seriously awesome.
Hey good thinking Vincent! I'm looking forward to seeing it in practice.
Yeah, great idea of using spacers...
Please post a message on this forum when you release the 780i version of this block, I'm going to bug the crap out of one of the suppliers when that happens to order at least one for me. That block, and a decent low profile WB for my GPU and maybe I can finally reclaim that PCIx1 slot I have, or at the very least have at least some small glimmer of hope that I can do a SLI setup without having to sacrifice my sound card or raid controller.
+1 :DQuote:

Nice. I'm hoping they'll start doing combo-blocks for other boards too.
Vincent,
I think you're going to have a lot of demand going forward. Hope you have the production capacity in place.
Hey disruptfarm,
What's that link to the Bitspower store again? (Chinese language cool here).
Thanks.
Yeah, I think a lot of people did like I did, looked at the price/performance of DDR3 vs. DDR2 (not to mention voltages and quality) and opted for the 780i instead of the 790i. In another year or so when the DDR3 prices are more reasonable and the quality of the RAM has firmed up some more then it'll be time to switch to a DDR3 based board.
But, in the meantime, when you say you'll start on the 780i boards next week, does that mean start designing them, or start shipping them? What I'm most interested in is the date when the retailers can start placing orders for the 780i blocks, that way I can send an e-mail to my retailer of choice asking them if they'll place an order for the 780i blocks and reserve one for me. Is there an official US distributor of BP products BTW?
Any update on the release in shops of the 790i NB/SB and mosfet blocks? :D
Yeah I also want to see it on stores already :D
www.bitspower.com.tw
p.s i <3 how everyone calls me disrupt (farm) :)
I never realized that the nb was so close to the sb in a 780i.
Nice block vincent. i was looking at the aqua computer block for the 790i, but couldn't find it for sale in the us.
any updates on the 780i block?
All the production are focus on those...Hope all resellers will have them be listed on their shop on 10th..
what about the vga sinks and blocks? similar timing?
sounds like AC is getting some competition, good
...and probably better availability from Bitspower for US customers.

ROFLROFLROFL...
very good job BP!
Yes ive been one of the front people yelling at vendors to please bring a block like this.
As i said, you can ask iandh how long ago i asked him to make a block like this.
Seems now they finally listen! :D
It doesnt make sense, we spend 100+ on a gpu full cover block only to have to ditch it hardware upgrade, yet we had no option like this on motherboards when the board usually outlasts the GP's.
I have a few more ideas BP if your interested. :D
Seems like your one of the few that actualy listens to us.
That looks sweet! Vincent any chance for 750i SLI?
Just outta curiosity, have you guys given any thought to what Motherboard brands you will be supporting in 2-4 months when Nehalem comes out? Since it seems Nvidia reference boards will be a thing of the past.
