c2d E7200 under my cascade... (they seem to clock pretty well) :D

got my new E7200 from the mail today... here is some initial results..
got to say that for a 100€ cpu it seems to overclock pretty nicelly :D:D

my gear:

This chip are so good...

But times are a little slow.
Can u use an optimized o.s. so we can compare with e8500 times?
With 5270 mhz I do 8.780 on pi and with 5100 mhz 9m and 23 seconds on spi 32m.

well compared to 8x00 line of cpus the super Pi times are slow.. thats cos there 7x00 cpus have only 3073 cache (the 8x00 cpus have 6144 cache ) ;););)

anyways i was doing some clocking today.. NO LUCK my board went grazy.. im trying to figure out what the broblem is :mad::mad::mad:
maybe the cpu is cold bugged or something :( :(

EDIT: LOL i was too hasty to say that its the cpus fault... it wasnt, the board was swimming in water when i took the socket insulation off... i hope that i didnt kill it :shocked::shocked:

Sorry but it's only 1 x 3Mb L2.

CPUZ shows the total amount of L2 cache, as you can see in my CPUZ screenshot:

32M SuperPi times will make no difference >>> if they do it will not be more than 2-3 seconds

have a look at this quick test on Asus P5E3 DLX and E7300 i have

well im getting some sweet ddr3 hardware next week so my scores should improve little bit..also i have to point out that i know absolutely nothing about windows tweaking and prolly thats why my scores sucked :D:D

That's a very high vcore with low temps ZoLKoRn! Also good fsb for air.

My chip is just like yours, needs lots of Vcore (500x8 Orthos stable with 1,55V) but I cannot keep temps low as yours with my Scythe Ninja :(

Is Vista best for WPrime? I did 19s with 500x8 under Vista.

Q803A533 and it not good overclock :( i can max OC about 4.4GHz but alot of Vcore ~ 1.7xxxV not stable, so for max stable is i can manage on air about 4GHz 1.63V :eek:

Same oc with my E7300 ES (Q803A548) , very bad chips (max screen on air a t 1.65v -> 4.2ghz , max fsb en air 470/475Mhz :mad:)

Strange E7x00 ES :(
