The single screw is there just because we had to fixate the block during manufacturing of the bottom side. Less vibrations... Nicer milling. The block weights 0,92 KG.
yeah, you'd think that since the 3870x2 is ATI's highend it wouldn't be capped like how the 2900xt doesn't have any clock limits (its not capped anyways, you get the point)Quote:

I really like the fact that there's backplates for the block.. at 2 pounds, they're pretty heavy..
Ouch, pretty expensive but the size warrant it anyway. Less expensive than crossfire (2x fullcovers) however.

wow, nice looking block. how much copper did that thing take and how long does it take to mill something that huge? Do you have some temp readings on how hot that card gets with the stock heatsink and on water?
