amd has a lot of orders from clients who want to upgrade their blade servers from dual to quad core, and they demand lower TDP chips, that chips are old, probably B1 or even older
back then yields ware not very good, thats why amd concetrated on lower slock speed and TDP parts, but the rummors now indicate current yields are pretty good, even amd said they expect a very quick K10 ramp up
I hope high clock desktop parts come sooner than amd previously said, the initial 2Ghz chips will give us good indication of performance per clock, and what a 3Ghz chip will bring
