8 x 450 quad core, at 4:5. 2.25 volts.
now the same speed and ratio, still 1125 mhz, but now its doing the same thing, with a slightly lower cas.
cas 5-4-4-12-4-35-10-10-10-11.
same voltage and all.
the underlined, is where things I managed to get alittle tighter and stable with this bios.
Ok, I just got another p5b deluxe but I'm having trouble with this one. Seems like there are different flash roms on every motherboard. I don't know if this is a flash rom problem or what but I can't seem to flash my board through ez flash with usb stick anymore.
Here's my thread, please read, thx: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=131413
I'm currently running 0804, and it's working fine. You got any results with 1004 yet?Quote:

Any news about downgrading the bios after 1004 is flashed ?
And about the 1004 ? How are you guys doing ? good or bad bios ?
Yes, I'm also looking for a way to downgrade after 'upgrading' to 1004 :(
i posted before
you can downgrade with afudos /i<biosname> /n /pbnc
Please i need help.
I'm using 1004 Bios version, i'm trying to goback to 0910 version, but i can't.
I use afudos 221 and afudos 226.
I boot from a floppy with ms-dos, then i type afudos.exe
Then of that i type again afudos /iP5BD0910.rom
It's start to load the bios, but then a banner said: please check for a new bios version in. www.asus.com.tw
And it happend with all bios version, 0302, 0504, 0711, 0908, 0910, only work with 1004 abobe 1004 :s
Like everyone else who decided not to head the warning "This BIOS does not support rollback" I'm trying to flash back to 910. I have just formatted my floppy for "MS-DOS Startup Disk" and copied the new "AFUDOS" to it but the BIOS file is a whopping 1MB in size so it won't fit on formatted floppy? Has anyone else had this problem? The only reason I want to go back to 910 is because my board double starts everytime I reset? Anyway thanks for the help guys! Next time I'll read the fine print!
^It doesn't happen to me with the 0910 BIOS. Only if I physically cut the power off, it will double reboot on the first boot.
Thanks for the reply guys, at least I'm not the only one suffering from this problem! Since flashing to v1004 it will also sometimes triple-boot (not sure why this happens but it only happens occationally when exiting BIOS). When I exit BIOS my computer will shut-down, then turn on for a very brief time (0.5s-1.5s), then shuts-down again, then it finally turns on and boots? Does this happen to anyone else?
Now I realize that doom-st posted that you can use "AFUDOS" to flash back to an older BIOS version but has anyone done this successfully yet and if so did you have to do anything special? I suppose I can live with this issue but I'd rather not. Then again maybe the changes made in v1004 ourweigh the double/triple booting issues?
Does P5b-dlx have cool boot bug like my p5wdg2 ws pro?
Cool boot bug: when restart system, my fans&hdd complete off for 2-3 sec.
Thanks.
if i understand well this mean we have this "bug" shut off, when the strap pass to 1333mhz?.. But on the P5WDG or P5W64 we don't got double reboot..
Need say it's not really a prob, even with a Vapo using the usb card controller..it's just needed be careful as the PC restart and you don't reboot the Vapo too.. same for peoples using a watercooling with control card launching the pump and then give the signal to the motherboard to power on ( i.e: asetek waterchill )..
Good point Lane, thanks m8!
