DS3 F3 bios better for patriot ram?
Hi I have found something weird with the DS3 and bioses.
I used to have an F3 bios but flashed it to f4 and f5 hoping for higher fsb and such. But however even at 400 fsb, i would only be prime stable for 4-6 hours (this is at 1.38 vcore, 2.1vdimm, 4-4-4-12, everything else normal voltage).
However I remember that I used to have prime stability for 14 hours before and that's when I was using the f3 bios. So I switched back and now I'm 16hrs + stable with the exact same settings before as F4/f5 bioses.
This leads me to believe that there are hidden ram timings in bioses that offer stability or lack thereof (this does not include the Ctrl+f1 options that are made available to us). I wish I know what these ram settings are so I can repeat them in the f4/f5 bioses.
Does anybody with the patriot ram experience this same issue?
