Interesting pump wished everyone had the same opportunity
It's only one minus of this pump... It's 230V input ;/
And lower flow than DDC
But it's quiet, u know becouse u had one ^^
But not ideal quiet:P
hmm, so tell me what pump is ideal quiet for u mate :)
ALL when are turned OFF :D
Right, just looked at your system and thought of some ideas...
You can use a 1 inch hole saw to make the following openings and then put a gromet into the hole so that it doesnt cut you open whilst your fiddlin around.
1st Hole: cpu power cable and fan cable (rotate 1/4 turn clockwise so that fan cable is closer to the opening)
2nd hole: Psu and IDE cable (it will go through with some Persuasion!!)
3rd hole: GPU, pump and sata cable
4th Hole: USB connectors and jump leads
Once all the leads are at the back of the MB tray, tye them together so that it sits behind the 5.25 cage
This should hide most of the cables for you. Hope this helps!! :)
thought Id share some daylight pics of de girl!!
I like the loop in that TJ.
One question real quick
Im planning on using 8 fans for a Feser rad 480 once it comes out
However, rad only comes with 16 screws for 4 fans and I would need 16 more screws to mount 4 more fans on the other side of the rad
Which size should I buy out of all of this? (Preferibly, same size as the ones that come with the rad)
http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/spsc.html
Thanks!
You can buy it here
http://www.aquatuning.de/index.php/c...8_Nanoxia.html
@ slim142
looks like m4 x30mm should work with 25mm fans.
But what about that ? => http://nanoxia.de/
So this one should work with no problem (Yate Loons 120x120x25)
http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ststma15in4t.html
could be a bit too long, looks like m4x40. but they could be ok if u need to mount the rad on ur tower with theses ones.
CD...
What's that ugly piece of crap case to the left?
(joke, I wish I had one)

Coldy,
Im planning on getting that fan controller, could you tell me, are the lights really bright when in full speed or are the people reviewing the product exagerating?
Also, how was your experience with that controller? Any problem?
Finally, where did you buy it? Did you get the second revision? (with foam underneath the chip)
@ rafwlkp : Its Feser 1/2"ID 3/4"OD Acid Green UV tube. I love it. Just wait till I get some UV cathodes in there....it will glow like Chernobyl.
@ Waterlogged : It WAS some form of old Chenbro case...Check my basic work log. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=193989

Hope you like it... seems like I'm not the only one with gpu-only blocks pointing towards the front of the case ;)
PS iandh... wonderful case there, really clean, excellent
Iandh: That is a work of a perfectionist, really that's one fine computah
Most impressed by the Pwr/rst-buttons, that is just lovely. And btw; is that starchart accurate? Is "starchart" even the correct translation?
Ian - wow...
iandh
sexy details!
iandh
You need to tell me right now sir where you got those lights (Constellations) cause that is HOT. Nice job!
@ iandh: I like what you did with the Scythe controller and front plate! Very nice
Thanks all!
Yeah, I think it looks way cleaner in some loops. Your build looks pretty clean, and plenty of further tinkering potential.
There are the constellations Capricornus, Libra, and Ursa Major. They are correct, but the rest of the stars are just random.
They actually are fiber optics lit by white LED's. If you look in the worklog section of this forum you can see exactly how I did it.
Yeah, that turned out pretty nice. The cool thing is that if I choose to in the future, the front is pre-cut for a MCR220.
iandh just wow i love your work and good idea with the earth and stars :P
Zodiac Project is one of the nicest ones I ever seen. The space effect made me fell in love with your case man. Thats just something I never thought about and now that I see it, is just unbeliavable how cool it looks.
Iandh fantastic work! love it
Added another loop to my system.

And my back up rig. Eee PC 2G Surf hooked up to my 24".
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...e/DSCF0442.jpg
Wait an eeePC with a 24" ????
Overkill much :p:
Hence the overkill. One icon looks to be the size of my fist on that screen lol. At least you know you can't accidentally click on the wrong app.
iandh very nice case. gives me a nice inspiration for the front of my case.
iandh, what would you 'tinker' in this case?
Here's a clearer pic of what it looks like now :)
If anyone has questions whatsoever just ask :)
iandh, your work is pure skillz. Alltough I don't really understand what's with those colored stripes in the frontpanel and other parts? I mean, they look nice but the color choise is bit weird for my eyes at least.
Despite of that, I am a big fan of such a craftmanship.
knet370 more photos pls :) Where did u get this 90* fittings ?
Nice case Knet370. :)
Iandh, that case is just brilliant! Even though the form of it isn't my taste, I would love to have that one sitting on my desk due to all the details, that start sky is beautifull, and the front and the power and reset buttons and I could continue, I really, really love the details in that one :)
Are those seperate LED's or the 4 led fans? Looks pretty sweet
@knet: got plans of changing the ram cooler's leds? the color kinda doesn't work with your tubes
Nice rig!
That "Power/Reset" button is INSANE!!!
Good work!
Simply. WOW.
Awesome job there mate!

http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/716...vornneuzp8.jpg
hmm...nice case and setup...may be not exactly the XS tubing OD/ID :D
edit: oh you also got an Eheim pump, very unusual here ;)
Winni very nice setup. What res is it ? It isn't EK...
And nice project of custommade frontplate, congratz m8 :)
It`s a Cape Corp Coolplex Pro 10 external ->
http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...-external.html
I´m glad you like the design of the frontplate :)
EDIT: Yay, I grow up and lived the first 11 years of my life in Poland too ;)
I was planning a very similar setup but I hessitated when told my eheim 1048 wouldn't have enough juice for 2 rads and 3 blocks. And you have yours with 4 blocks and 10/8 tubing
Are you getting good temps with that? Any problems?
BTW love that murderbox style front
Its a modded eheim, its called Innovatek HPPS + 12V,here the link : ->
http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...-12V-Pump.html
The flow in the system is not a problem even with the restrictive EK Supreme, the water in the res is always blubbering strong.
The Q6600 @3,4 Ghz and 1.325V is 35°C@ Idle and 46-47°C @ load.
The 8800GT @ 700/1030 Mhz ist idle @36°C abd load @ 44°C.
The components :
1 x 120mm Radiator
2 x 240mm Radiators
1 x Innovatek HPPS + 12V Pump
1 x Heatkiller NB
1 x Heatkiller SB
1 x Heatkiller Mosfet
1 x Zalman 8800Gt Fullcover
1 x EK Supreme
1 x Caper Corp Coolpelx 10 Reservoir
Pump -> 120mm Radiator -> 240mm Radiator -> EK Supreme -> Heatkiller Northbridge block -> Heatkiller Southbridge block -> 240mm radiator ->
Zalman Fullcover 8800GT Block -> Heatkiller Mosfet Block -> Cape Corp 10 Reservoir
EDIT: It doesnt matter which tubing you have, everything over 10/8mm does not increase the flow or makes better temps.
The same goes for the pump, ist enough when the water circualtes with 60L/ hour, everything more does not make better temps.
( an exception are blocks like the D-Tek Fuzion, there the higher flow makes better temps )
Winni, what are you using to house your hard drives?
Im using a box for the HDD, its called Scythe Quiet Drive :
http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/3...hddcoolqj4.jpg
Its one of the best AND cheapest boxes existing, it won much reviews against other boxes. The price here in germany is about 30 Euros.
Winni, I have to admit that for a new poster @ XS, your posts are just it ;)
Ooo, thank you, really appreciate it :)
@Winni
Nice build I especially love the compression fittings, they give such a clean look. Are those bitspower fittings?
thx
Thanks :)
I unfortunatately dont know bitspower, they are normal screw on fittings :
