Worklog HERE
Do you seriously need 1100W PSU?
Not Really :ROTF: but I'm a noob, what'd you expect  by the time I realized its too much, its already to late for me to return it, so might as well use it anyway. Will definitely go quad sli very soon so It should be enough. Better to have more juice than upgrade later on I guess.
nice build mr toast :)

@Gunther04: I love your rig! That harddrive in the front gives a nice extra touch :)
Valdi very nice rig you got there!
Wow I really like the look of your Cosmos. Inspires me to put a red cathode in the one I just built...got the RaptorX front and center just how I like it..sweet

I never try too hard on my own stuff :p:
This rig never shuts down: it's Folding 24/7 so it gets a tad dusty...
evilape that looks HAWT.
cyberdruid lol. you are very funny :D
why is that case hiding behind cuirtons? no wonder its dusty (i just realised i cant spell cuirtons, how do u spell it)
sorry for double post... wtf
EvilApe Your Tygon rox ;)
CyberDruid Quadro loop? :D
Enough tubes to give Naekuh the fear...
Yeah my PC room is less than Chic.
There is so much eye candy in this thread it's almost a shrine to OCD.
EvilApe Sweet build. Love the sleeving and layout!
CyberDruid awesome build as always! Your ST rig looks like functionality won over tidyness. It still looks very well organised if you think of how much is in there!
More Rigs! ;)
great machines in this thread...thx for taking the time to post...pics have gone a long way to helping me with my first w/c build.
There really is a huge variety of innovation, art, practicality and style in this thread. I look in on it every update :)
Before taking out one of my vid cards... I should take some new ones since I've fixed up the cables a bit. Still gets really dusty, though.

As always, your work shines.
The fit and finish are prefect and your work in acrylic amazes me.
I know how easy it is to crack when drilling but you make it look easy..
Eww... get rid of some of that dust on the rad... :p
Hey that was the rad from my EXTERIOR cooler that I ran for 8 months non stop OUTSIDE the house...still a good rad.
I'm not dusting it off: that's LUCKY dust.
I used to always go for blue lights but damn lately I am liking these red details.
zlojack, the last picture looks awfully scary... are you sure that's secured?
Even with the clamp on it, it looks like it's gonna disconnect soon...
colored condoms - a.k.a. Laing O-Rings :D

and the brandnew black 3/8" Feser tubing
http://www.abload.de/img/img_3220exd.jpg
Feser products are always well photographed :)
lol... the o-rings are uv-reactive too right? :ROTF:
hey thats a cool idea for the DDC tops that are clear.
i need UV reactive blue ones!
if I mix yellow water with red water, will I get orange uv water?
do you see them as clear under normal light? because I've seen some pictures/videos that show them in color under normal light
Those Feser O-rings are a pretty neat idea.
we got it... you like red lol
Here's my first attempt at water cooling:

I haven't changed/moved anything either. That's all first time. I think it turned out rather nicely. Thanks to all the various worklogs and pictures on here as they gave me tons of guidance and ideas.

jdrom this LC l00ks great :D But why u don't watercool VGA ?
Maybe because it's their first attempt at wc and they didn't want to get too complicated? Trying to prevent the wc money blackhole?
here is mine, first attempt at wc:

That's a good job there on the Armor.
Well not really, I just have a 8800GTS 320MB and I'm planning on getting a 4850/4870 soon and I'd want a full cover block with an acrylic top so I didn't want to spend $100 or so on a block for a video card I'm going to get rid of soon. But yeah I've already got sucked into that black whole since I spent way more than I was thinking of spending originally.
@jdrom Man that is simply perfect how you have the loop routed...
lowfat what fans is it ?
Love this clear coolant & green smartcoils :)
here's my upcoming project, still in progress and a lot to do but i thought i share 1-2 pics of it
http://sargatanas.gwebspace.de/PC/mm/3.2.08front.jpg
http://sargatanas.gwebspace.de/PC/mm/3.2.08oben3.jpg
Ok Sargatanas I'm going to ask kindly if I might be allowed to copy that grill over filter idea. That was a VERY nice inspiration over the filters themselves.
:)
well the actually i just wanted to mount the filters without the grills.
but it was a lil screw problem so i mounted them over the filters. well after all i like it very well ^^
sure copy it if u like it ;)
thanks realredraider, but actually it isn't...for the moment ^^
still have to wait for the mb trace which was forgotten so i had to find a ugly solution until the trace arrives...but i think i gonna translate and post the whole worklog after receiving the trace and finishing the lights/cables.
today some anodized u-bars arrived, gonna hide all the cables shown below etc at the corners of the tower, can't stand this cable chaos atm so i keep my eyes away from this side of the tower :)
http://sargatanas.gwebspace.de/PC/mm/3.2.08seite1.jpg
still thinking about to order another front since the current one isn't the one i ordered and i still have 3 pa120.3 left.
dont know yet but i think i combine it with the next order/project since it's kinda expensive to ship from us ^^
Absolute Overkill but very nice work :)
@jdrom, that's an interesting tubing, can you post different angled pictures?
double post
One day built on sunday weekend few month ago by adding 2nd loop and mobo with a mediocre tube routing and wire managment.
Realized after that I got a slight flawed mosfet heatsink on the mobos.
Lesson learned :hitself::hitself: always test the gadget first on torture box.
Picture was taken several week later before I sell back the mobo.

http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k7...s/DSC03192.jpg
@the_dude and Sargatanas, jeez what a mess :) I dont mean it in a bad way :D
Quad Loop: it's the new triple loop. Amazes me and looks great:up:. Remember when Triple loops was overkill...what was that 3 months ago :ROTF:
thx guys :D
I know it's kinda overkill but I like the look of the tygon chaos, think it should be bout 8-9m of it :ROTF:
Hey Sparda you need to wash those dust filters. Oh yeah for some reason I love how you mounted your res. It's very symmetrical :D
My new WC setup enjoy!

any opinions or suggestions :)?
IMO Red or Blue coolant would look better....
and why you´re using 2 res´s ?
BlackOps + Crossfire = good choice! May be WC the GPUs ;)
agree with above poster, I don't like green coolant either :D; but OK just a
matter of taste.
could you add the spec of your system ? (may be in your sig)
nah CM has launched a new revision of the stacker which includes inside painted black, clearside window instead of mesh and the new motherboard tray (which isnt that new feature tho) and I almost forgot is cheap too!
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119156
cheers for the heads up , no to wait till it filters to europe...
Well after some mobo issue. 780i
I swapped out the mobo yesterday. I also replaced the thermal compound under the NB/SB with some AS5.
But while i was at it, i redid my water cooling from blue to UV green.
Here are some pics. (Enjoy)

Marker in liquid = bad idea :(
No holes, air goes up and down, they're not really shrouds, only mounts. I'm getting great temps even with the noctuas and no shrouds.
