Regarding the x-fi:
I'm currently running the F7 bios and noticed that the x-fi 'loses itself' when you do a restart but when you do a shutdown and then start up the machine again, the x-fi is still there. Maybe bingo can pass that on to gigabyte if it isn't already known.
If it is known.. DISREGARD this post. :)
Oh, and the F8a bios limits my overclock.. from (F7) 490x7 to (F8) 470x7.
I'm using the crucial 10th gmh sticks.
It's known :)Quote:

*prays to the Gods that this will fix my D9 memory... (lol) im sad i know, but i cant wait.
The Crucial Anniversary modules did 7x490 at 5-4-4-12. Gigabyte still has their MCH timings tuned very tight unlike Asus which is why you see the difference in the FSB speeds now. We are still going back and forth on that issue as the hardware is capable of 515FSB but not anything more at this time.Quote:

mmmm, f8 bios should help me a good bit. currently running d9gmh at 1:1, 433 daily, 475 max post. Maybe we could have manaual internal mch latencies in addition to auto :D.
Bingo13, do you work for gigabyte? If so, talk to fugger about getting your title changed and possibly a gigabyte official support subforum made.
could someone pm me when f8 official is released, i don't check this thread often.
Obviously, it didn't pass QA. Things seem to be a bit tighter now at Gigabyte.Quote:
