The reason I went to 450mhz was that the strapping changes when you go from 400mhz to 450mhz for the Ram. My ram actually has no problem overclocking to 1080mhz at 1066 strapping, but for some reason it has a problem going to 980 at 800 strapping, very frustrating. So to fix it, I lowered the multiplier and raised the fsb to force the strapping since I couldn't figure out how to change it. If you have any suggestions or know what the strapping changes at what fsb, ie 425mhz then that would be helpful. I am going to try a couple of things this week, cooling adjusting the voltage on the mch and northbridge. I am also going to try raising the fsb up to 475mhz to see if I can run at that speed, although it only gets me to 3.8Ghz, I have seen plenty running at this speed.
