Ok, not that much of prime, but gives a pretty good indication of why this chips runs 3.1 on water this easy :cool: .

The seller we were getting the Good stepping opterons on ebay from has been suspended. Bound to happen, the more I read the feedback, the more I didn't pull the trigger on anything else.

That's good, then you may just break even. I wouldn't open it though if you intend to sell. I've seen ccbwe's barely bringing $175-$200 used, on the forums & $200-$250 on ebay. Most people are trying to unload 'em before the bottom drops out like the 146's did when everyone wanted 165's & 170's. I'm holding on to my last two. I'm buying a conroe then holding out for an nvidia sli board to run it on. I get the feeling intel is not gonna have many conroes available 'til late 3rd quarter and the price will be higher until then. I'm still not convinced it will be an all around better gaming computer system than AMD's anyway. They just bench better.:stick:Quote:

But you're happy with the cpu right? All I feel about them other than shipping seemed abit shaddy is they did sell me the first known ccbbe stepping for and opteron 170:woot: I didn't order anything else because when I would inquire about auction being for ccbbe steppings and what exact stepping, I was asked what stepping do I want. I was then told to go ahead pay for it(buy it now) & they'll ship it when they get it. I'm thinking to myself an ebay preorder? :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: that. It seems as though the items weren't actually in their possesion. Items were being sold/auctioned, & then the revenue was being used to obtain the sold item, hence all the shipping delays.Quote:

I currently working on oc'ing G.skill F1-4000usu2-2gbhz 's and I can get them to do 285mhz 1:1 but pc won't boot on 9/10 divider. It's strange since I'm doing fine with the 5/6. I'm thinking of moving the 170 over since I can run 1:1 with it, but the RS482 infinity won't do 315HTT + clocks. Anyway the 170 performed as a typical 0610 CCBBE. Does 2.8ghz easily with stock volts:D I'll have to play with it more to find the max oc.Quote:

Almost delidded this chip due to temps. Instead swapped out my 170 and seems that got a better mount. Temps were lower in both bios and mbm. Anyway this is my latest result. http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/8795/16529ur3.jpg Hope 3.0 is in my future.

Temps while priming where 44C. These are right after i stopped the test. I tried 3GHz but it wont boot to windows.. maybe i need to increase voltage more but right now im happy with this. I don't know if a better bios would help me get to 3Ghz with less voltage? The max i tried was 1.45.
