Just bumped into this thread by accident...:)
Right before New Years Eve I benched my own 154, and it was quite decent...
4005.36mhz;)

With more voltage than your chip, though.
I remember I tried it once waaay back, but then it stopped at 3750 because of coldbug. I didn't think it was cb because core temp reported 2c all the time:D Then I ran it on a swiftech cpu block with dice all over it... 3983 easily, with 1.7v. The last 22 was a hard fight, but after trying for a few hours I got a validation 1 second before it rebooted:p:
Spi1m attached. The next time I'm having a session I will lap this one, maybe the idle-load delta will go down a couple of degrees, so I can run it at a few mhz more. And without having to run with cpuz open to avoid coldbug after the run:p: I bet that cost me 0.1s or so at least.
It's always nice to see 4ghz amd chip! Very good result :D
Great CPU and overclocking :D
I hope my Opteron 154 and 156 will also run pretty good...and i can break that heavy 4 ghz barrier.
almost 1st Orleans 4GHz.. very damn coldbug :(

i got 3.9GHz working stable in win...
CPU_Z validaton... Click HERE!!
and in Bios..http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...Image053-1.jpg
This thread is more AMD orientated...
But nice OC regardless :)
i thought pentium d's were easy overclocks?
They are, I'm guessing he's on the stock cooler/voltage.
Nice
Opty 156 @ 4007.42MHz:
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=400740
1.63v
What's funny here is that the vx86-id is almost identical to the frequency:D only 2 numbers away - of 400,000! It was meant to be:yepp:
I almost forgot:
Athlon 6000+ @ 4121MHz 1.72v
WOW...
woot, nice CPU m8 4GHz for AMD :)
WTG, keep pushin bro :D
they are not easy to OC specaly with the 90nm and i busted the voltige to allmost 1.4v ... i think that i have the ''fastes'' Pentium D ... cording to 3Dmark05 got 7344 CPUMarks;
its i think its same as hard to get a AMD to 4.0+GHz
Not really...
It wouldn't get you top 25 for the D 820, never mind overall Pentium D
5.1GHz on your chip is about the same difficulty as a 4GHz AMD ;)
i just saw some pentums d and well .... I SUCK!
i need a better PSU.
btw i think i made it unstable and well ill just say R.I.P. to my cpu, QQ
i checked all the components, and in a conclusion i think p35-e mambo requires the 8pin CPU power connector. and so my power connector that i made and was using, well it got over heated and turned brown. and as you many assume it got burned up. and now im trying to fix the problem im getting in to many problems. so ill probably rip my PSU apart swap the whole 4 pin and exchange it with the 8 pin i made.
And ty Oj101 for the link ill keep that in mind^^
