Personally I'd use a squirrel cage fan for this setup, as they consume less power, better flow, queiter, and you can just use 110v for power and save energy wasted from converting to 12v. And if your really smart find a fan setup that will allow you to drive your water pump off the fan motor.

Funny thing though, the stock fan shroud on my vehicle has been shown time and time again to be more efficient than these electric fan.

If I wasn't a total newb to watercooling, I'd consider finding a car radiator for passive watercooling as well. My HTPC is in my theatre room, and the A/V wires come through a wall from an unfinished room. I want to setup a slient watercooling system where the radiator and pump is located in the other room.

Lincoln Mark VIII fan, it moves 4,800CFM at 14 volts. But it draws a ridiculous amount of power to start, like 80A.

Xtreme fan though ;)
