Sry, but this is ugly as hell:rolleyes:
No cable management, tubing at the edge of bending...

guys... some people can't afford expensive fancy looking setups. It doesn't have to be pretty all the time, sometimes function > form you know. He's getting load of 50C with an OC at 4GHz so ease up
ha poor guy , i think it looks alright
No need to flame because his system doesnt meet your standards.
But on that note, being a gallery, people like to look at systems where alot of effort has
been applied, but a little cable management wouldn't go a stray InsaneOne.
Your temps are good though.

In before, "Laff it's a kit!"
It looks alright though. I like your case.
I bought this kit because i used it in a customers computer and it works great.
It installs easy... fits outside the case perfect and looks cool :)
Im only keeping this setup for a little bit anyways... im selling it on ebay or in my computer shop soon :) I just like building them and selling them lol. I think im leaving AMD for the first time EVER... ive never built an intel but im not getting any satisfaction from AMD and they will slowly burn in hell if things dont get better :)
im at 2.8 and its only 35c
not too bad :)
Nice setup unkn0wnhacka.
Regarding the earlier posts, this thread does not need negative feedback but rather constructive feedback. If you don't think it doesn't look that great, why not give some tips. It doesn't hurt putting out suggestions.
At 50C on load, the temps are not at its best but at least it isn't that bad.

Note: Pictures were taken just after I finished put everything into case. As you can see, the RAMs were not there ... :D ... All were done after 3 beers .... :toast2::toast2:
Cloudy tubing is cloudy. Also, love the levitating pump - am I right in thinking it's being held up by the tubing?
I like the uneven rheobuses the most :p:
Everything was moved from old (mid tower) case .... and was used as is ... :D :D ... Actually, ClearFlex tube seems to get cloudy so fast ...maybe tubes are exposed to light too much (while in old case, I had the side panel wide open)? Any way to clean them without taking them apart?
Hahaha ... it cannot avoid ... since it was made around mid night ... and after few beers .... :D :D
Can't really make cloudy tubing clear again. :(
I found a loophole. Don't use clear tubing and it can never get cloudy!!!!

Job well done
Hi
Here is my computer.
Its a e6550 2.3Ghz, 8800gt, Asus P5N32-E SLI PLUS, 3x 320gb WD, 500gb WD, 74gb raptor WD. 2x512mb Crucial BallistiX , 2x1024mb Geil.
Waterloop: Laing DDC-1t 10Watt, Old AC gpu and Ac cpu block, And some raidators from magicool, 1x120mm and 2x120mm.
This loop is not up right now. Have got some new radiators: 1x120 hw-labs xflow and a swiftech 220QP. Have some now blocks in shipping. Ek-FC88 (g92) and a Ek supreme.

Modzona... I really like what youve done with your SATA power cables between hard drives
Care to teach us a bit about that :yepp:
Those are 90 degree sata cables. Dont' really know what they are specifically call but the SATA port on one end of the cable is perpendicular. I believe he just had them run down and then ziptied them so it won't get messy. that way the sata cables will stay together.
Nice setup though and I really like that keyboard :D. Old school.
I believe he's asking about the power cables, not the data cables.
There's a brief guide on how to do this on the Xtreme mods forum here. How easy this is to do depends largely on the SATA connectors used by your PSU. If they're easy to remove, it's simple:up:.
You just take some of this and some wire, And there you go:)
You have to go old school:D I did use that most for that it dont have the windows button. Hate that button!
Edit: You are right about the sata cables. Just 3 90degree ziptied for the clean look.
Well here's my new build, enjoy ;)

Still bleeding the loop so lots of tiny bubbles are visible.

I cant wait to build my 2nd Watercooling, I have learnt a lot of my mistakes, and will try not to repeat them.
I got 1/4rd of my order shipped to my place.

white coolant?
You got almost the same stuff lying there as what I go in my postbox two days ago haha. I already have my CPU/GPU blocks lying at home, ordered my NB block from EK today together with some Tygon tubing which hopefully arrives next week.
I hope to get all of this including the radiator inside my Lian LI :)
Thanks
My biggest hobby is my computer so yes, most of my spare time goes into it. I've customized al of my waterblocks.
The CPU block is a TDX for socket 939 which I made a custom LGA775 mount for. The base of the TDX is also bowed [CLICK].
Same thing for the chipset block. Its a Maze4 NF4 so originally it doesn't fit P35/X38 chipsets, so i made a custom mount for it also.
The EK waterbloks came with ugly black bolts which I replaced with nice chrome ones. The chrome ones look way better with the chrome fittings imho.
TDX 939 custom mount:

Utnorris
I also replaced the ugly black bolts but with polished stainless steel caps and had the alloy heatsink copper plated to match the rest. Polished the block as well.

Hey man, looks great!
But, even though polishing makes it look sexy, it does not help performance... in fact it worsens performance.
It's like putting lubricant on a table surface, it makes it slippery and you have no grip at all, same goes with thermal heat transfers, it's a layer between the copper and coolant/copper and CPU/GPU.
Just a heads up.
BTW, @Canine, HOLY COW!!! That looks simply amazing dude.
Excellent job there.
Only polished the part that the coolant dosent touch, so no loss of performance which is outstanding ;)

The rougher the surface the more surface area the coolant has to contact and also more turbulance is created which is also a good thing.
nice canine got a worklog?
Beautiful Canine. Looks brilliant.
Yup, pretty mad, but I tell you what..........send me some heartgard for my dogs and we will call it even....sound good? :D
Thanks to everyone else for their compliments. I will try and get some better pics up in the next few days. Here is what I started with:

Yea, this looks damn nice dude:)
Redblue combination is awesom.
Awsome looking rig you got there Canine!
Agree!
@canine: More Pics with light please. Not only in the dark. :) I like that orange/blue.
For better pics, you can reduce Iso to lowest possible setting (50, 100) and therefore you
give longer exposure time. ;)

think i gonna make an external black enclosure for the radiator, doesn't look that nice on a black cube, but holds the both gx2 cards quite cool.
already bought 18 scythe kaze 3000 for a push'n'pull config, some fan controller, but atm i dont know if it will be a wooden or plexi enclosure.
holy moly
sargantas... that is beastly... nice box...
Bubble.
EDIT:
sargatanas, isn't that a $800 case???? Beautiful!
Sargatanas your images wont load for me :(
the tower itself was about ~300€ +additional accessories or what do u exactly mean?
i have 2 of em...in earlier days they were one gigantic tower to have enough room for all my stuff ^^
here's a kinda very old pic of the former "tower"

atm i'm looking for a mountain mod ascension but will be quite difficult to order it here in germany.
hope it works now ;)
xpatar i see a lot of air cooling in your rig
Sargatanas, I have the same anti-kink metal spirals... awesome stuff eh
Very nice setup also :)
xpatar how the block performs ? if you compare it with the D-tek Fusion ?
i need a new block and i can't decide witch on of those two :(
Well I can't tell about the D-tek Fusion cause I haven't tested it.
The swiftech Apogee GT is simple awesome, it has the same baseplate with Apogee GTX and with my rig running four instances of prime95 at the same time for 10 hours the temps never went over 50 Celcius degrees.
Remember, I got a C2DQ 6600 G0 revision running @ 3.2GHz, 1.3v.
Of course you may have better temps with your rig with better cooling as each rig is unique.
Anyway I would recommend it to you as an excellent cpu waterblock.
Note: I had to remove the passive cooler of my asus maximus formula cause it wouldn't fit at first. It's an apogee GT waterblock so go for an Agogee GTX,
same base plate, better compatibility with new motherboards, excellent performance.
ty @ all =)
I made a test, where the D-Tek was better than the Apogee GTX (should be better than GT) bowed and unbowed the same. Unbowed the GTX was very restrictive (~259l/h), bowed it was better. (385l/h). D-Tek had 439l/h without Nozzles and ~350l/h with Quad-split-nozzle. (Loops same always with CPU-Block, a DDC+, Rad, Flowmeter and Tempsensors) Delta was ~29°C with Nozzle in FuZion and 33°C without Nozzle. Apogee GTX had ~35°C bowed and ~38,5°C unbowed.
But that all depends on the quality of the block you get. And I tell you: buy 10 Apogees and you will get 8 different results ^^
@Sargatanas: Greetz from NRW ;)
xpatar are you using standoffs to hold that SB cooler in place?
No case, only hardware. The case is a secret :p:

sweet pic :)
very nice indeed.
What heatsinks are those around the CPU area? (mosfet)
Black and silver, nice theme you've setup there! Looks sexy! :D
Which pump will be pushing that Supreme?
I think that is EVGA or XFX 790i MB.Quote:
They look like the stock ones from any 780i/790i board. I could be wrong.
Steffen go go go.
it's the stock heatsink.
changed my loop again, now without metal spiral.
