I know...i've just mentioned that... :)

then how come that, this RAM can do even 270? I think hipro5 pushed them even higher? But can do only 210 here :(

Trfc is very important... set it to >15

i have no luck on my intel system too. I pretty much gave up on it. Just hold on to it and upgrade to AMD64.

I see no trc or trfc on my mobo.

chipset menu looks like this (picture) and timings i can change are: CAS, RAS precharge, RAS to CAS delay, Precharge delay...another setting is Burst Lenght, i've set it to 8, cauze while at 4 I even get more errors.

spread spectrum is set to disabled.

Hehe dude...must say I was thinking about it....but I aint gonna switch to AMD just because some RAM isnt' working. I have my eyes on some new mobo and CPU (max3 and 3.2E) to get past 4Ghz and I these sticks wont work there....i'll just buy some TCCD then...

But it really bugs me...how come it's not wotking on all intel systems...which setting is the one that is missing or is responsible for the fails...

I'd like to say that enabling performance mode doesn't have effect on number of errors in memtest, but gives me about 200 more in sandra!

On IC7 mobo that can't trully disable the PAT thing they do well with 2 - 5 - 3 - 2 .........

i tried the 2-5-3-2 settings and no help. Even on bh5 and bh6 sticks, it didnt help. my system would free at 250fsb with bh5 and bh6 during gaming. memtest clean, but game freezes after like 10mins.

have you guys tried 3.4 volts on your intel systms? I didn't see anyone post with 3.4 volts, most I saw was 3.2.

Over here with the Max3 they now do 257mhz 2.5.2.2 with about 3.25 - 3.35vdimm (fluctuates) without vtt mod. So no need to do 2.5.3.2 here. That's with Sp's

billy try these settings and see if it improves...

hmmm

Anyone find any difference between the "Speed premium" sticks and the 1G kit sticks?

They all hitting the same speed point or are the SP's any faster?

Im dyin here, 3 sets are sitting at the FedX office to be delivered TUESDAY morning...ugh.... its 5 minutes from my house :banana:

In that thread I have named Speed Premium as "SP UTT". If there is no "SP" in the description it either means the person posting results didnt mention they were SP, or they are not SP.

I think I just got 2 cherry sticks of SP, they do 243 each at 2.8 volts, unfortunately I have no case atm so I can't even put my stuff togethetr to test it, hehe. No one sells a pc 7077 except newegg, anyone know where else I can get one? Well this weekend my brother in law is coming with his nf4 rig so I'll get some testing in :)
