I really like that .
I'm currently planning a white build myself based on a Silverstone TJ07. Was having some difficulty picturing what it would look like finished as I haven't seen any other cases in white, but seeing your case has really helped.
Strange that you chose the Silverstone HDD module for a Lian-Li case when I was thinking about using a Lian-Li HDD module on a Silvertone TJ07
Nice, but that tubing on the barbs doesn't look very good. :(
Ahhh white rad's, just pure sexyness!
I really like that. The white and blue look good together.
i like the white & blue combo!
lexusxxx, is that rad aluminum all the way through or copper tubes with alu fins?
Both of the above build look great by the way. Good work both of you.
I glad to meet you here,Lexusxxx,I'm from russia too:yepp:
These is my LianLi V2000 :D

Very nice, except for the plastic action figure. Do you mind posting another picture, except without the plastic action figure? I'd really like to use that as a background, but the action figure ruins it.
to Voo Doo - copper tubes with alu fins, good rad. :toast:
_AcceleratoR_ Preved :D :toast: :toast:
I'm sorry you think that. Please read section #3 here to know why that's not a good rad at all.

Taylormsj, that looks really good, especially for such a small case. Am I correct in that you lost the bottom two expansion slots?
Yesss, i may be able to squish a sound card just under my graphics if i wanted, but i downgraded from a sound blaster audigy to onboard audio, and saw no difference, so im in no hurry to fill the slots up :D
Well...double genius points for using two! :D
my build... latest update with DFI Lanparty UT-P35 T2R..

hello fellas, im a noob watercooler......actually this is my first real build using different components. i have duel black ice extremes, a danger den cpu block, and a ek northbridge block for my set-up. the video is just aircooled. still have to install top and side covers......ther at my friends gettin some lazer engraving. will post update when its all completed. i have the q6600 quad running @ 3.6ghz. peace, randy.
After many months of reading on XS, here's my baby.

Needs a bit of cable tidying, but I just wanted to get in and play games, so it'll have to wait :P
So many nice rigs here
This is my first WC rig and I seriously made lots of mistakes. I'm going to repaint the case, redo the whole WC setup, add 8800GT to loop and mount rad inside the case. Maybe even get rid of res and add T fitting. I would be very glad if someone would point out what is wrong in my WC setup so I don't made same mistakes again. I mean really point out everything what is wrong, don't hesitate, make me cry, its all good. Ofcourse you cannot see pump which is hidden in 5.25" slots. Don't have any pics of that, but I think no-one even wants to see it :)
Going to take more pics when I have done everything right :)
So, those pics:

Blergh Thermaltake waterblock :shakes:
Hahaha TT waterblock. Btw, your revised build looks great. Nice and tidy ^^
I lost an MSI P35 board and an 8800 GT to a leaking thermaltake rad..... That was when the GTs first came out and were about 310. But now I'm on quality watercooling and have nad no more incidents :)
Hi Guys!
My 2-loops wc Lian-Li V2100 :

But i need 3x 100cm sata uv cables :(
On screenshots of the screen like it is visible...

3. EK 8800GTX/Ultra
4. Laing DC-1
5. Watercool MO-RA 2 + 4 120mm fan 1000 rpm
In the pic above. When you redo the loop make sure you change the intake of the CPU block to the bottom. You want the water flowing in from the bottom to the top to eliminate any possibility of their being bubbles at the top of the CPU block.
Other than that, nice looking rig and good cable management
change my barbs to 8mm for better flow and repainted my case.
New pix included...
Hi guys, i've been watching this thread for months, now i can reply:)

nice avatar, do you have it in larger?
hehe soulman it looks like your avatar got some marks on her back ^^ looks ugly
Looks like kind of a light load for such a big rad, I'd be surprised if it couldn't keep such low temps. Most ppl here could run that on a PA120.3 with only slightly warmer temps (if not equal). It also puts a massive burden on your pump with all the 180° bends, restriction wise, that's probably at least 10 PA120.3's worth. What was the load and how long was it applied?

It was a fun little project, but I've already received my next list of parts which I hope to post in a few weeks.
First off, :welcome: to XS!!
Very nice build m8!! looks great!
And I like that custom window!!!
:welcome: to XS! Great cable management
Thanks for the kind comments. No, this is not my first WC setup, nor will it be my last. Thanks for the input guys!
Mine is kinda junky. Gotta chop off all the extra tubing, put in a t-line, put in better coolant, do a bootleg fan mod so I can cool my ram better, and turn by rad around. I was bored as hell, so I made a vid. Its pretty bad because I didnt edit it yet.

#2 and 3 are about the same thing.
You must have been really bored to feel a need to make videos of your computer. I think if you replace the coolant with either blue or clear and cut out all the extra tubing it will look quite nice. I'm not really a fan of it now because the green coolant and all the extra tubing.
thanks all guys...but i thik you like more my avatar than my system:D
<massive burden on your pump> you test this rad? Water stream above than i`am use alphacool GTs 240
<What was the load and how long was it applied> game (assassin`s creed) 2-3 hour, OCCT 1 hour
sory for my English... :D
In general sense of a radiator in that that it big and on it it is possible to hang up many fans and it all the same will be silent and effective.
To me to like.
PA120.3 (PA120.4) very good radiator but it not so will be harmoniously looked on a lateral wall.
Also do not forget all my fans very much very silent and blow poorly
Thanks for your opinion. :toast: :toast:
@Xaviar, it's the same plate but I just drilled the necessary holes..
and thanks
Don't take my word for it.

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...highlight=mora
Just do a search for "MO-RA", "MORA", or "mora" to find many many more topics discussing just how pathetic the rad really is.
Shocker, I like but...I think you need to remove those restrictive Alphacool blocks. I think that's your biggest problem now, that and maybe 12/10 tubing next time, 8mm I.D. is still a bit small.
The reason your temps are high is because having smaller tubing will make the pump push the water through really fast, water going TOO fast by the copper on the waterblock CAN create heat.
You should look into getting chipset blocks like the MCW30's or some EK's, and maybe some 7/16" ID tubing.
You've got quality components in your rig, but you can cool it better with an air cooler compared to some of the watercooling gear you've got in there now.
I think your doing a great job improving on this build, some here might not like some of the things you've got.
But what really matters is if YOU like it and that it WORKS.
Keep up the good work m8!
Ok here is my contribution guys.
CM690 modded and painted. Dual loops with a PA 120.3 on each. The GPU loop is supposed to be SLI but Im waiting on an RMA for the 2nd card. The CPU loop is going to include the FETs and the NB in the future which is why I have it on its own loop.
This is only my 2nd loop ever (first one was about 2 weeks ago) so please feel free to critique! Im not thin skinned and would appreciate any comments or advice.
The wires need a tad more tidying, and I need to trim my fill lines as well as perhaps reposition the one going to the top pump. I also am going to get some modders mesh and make a cover for the lower right open area which used to be HD bays to cover up the wires stuffed behind there.
:D

WOW! Excellent job there m8!!
Looks great. What GPU block(s) are you using? MCW60 or D-Tec GFX?
MCW-60 :)
I think its a decent job, but Im really not happy with the position of the top pump located a the bottom of the 5.25 bays. You cant see it, its hidden in those pics from the fill lines.
Thx for the encouraging words :)
Any recommendations/suggestions always appreciated.
I cool! I didn't even think of the pump, couldn't see it! :p:
No problem!Quote:

One thing that I personally don't like seeing to much is empty tubing.... like at the top of your T-lines, I would fill them up and hide the ends of them somewhere in the 5.25" bay area.
So then all you would see are the black T's and green liquid filled tubing, thats what I like
I personally think you should switch to black or green coolant. Green just isn't my style for coolant. Also, as smee said, shortening some of the tubing would definitely improve the looks. Other than that, looks good.
that build is hot, what ram-cooler is that? looks familiar...
E: nullface was correct there, thanks
http://www.overclockercafe.com/Revie...-Fan/index.htm
Looks like somethig form CoolIt
That is nice!
Here's a link to the RAM cooler:
http://www.coolitsystems.com/index.p...=53&Itemid=162
edit: looks like the link's old news
Now we're talking! I love the blue! Very neat cable management BTW
Maybe i will change them in future becos of looks, but they are doing their jobs well. My chipsets 9°c above room temp when my cpu is idle.
My core 0 is always 15°c above the room temp and core 1 and 3 are equally 11°c above the room temp too(idle). 100% load they can reach 56°c for the hottest core with room temp at 25°c. As for the fan grill i had to install them becos, i once got a cut on my finger from the exhaust fan. I use three silverstone FM 121 fans on my rad. I dont know if the rad can really handle the heat from all the hardware in my loop. Am thinking of adding a Swiftech MCR220 240mm Radiator to my loop, but i donīt know if it will help.
My problem is how can i get my cpu cooler,:( the NB and SB donīt run hot expect when i have the cpu at 100% load. I donīt think that 9°c above room temp when idle is bad for my chipset. please correct me if am wrong
Meanwhile am using 7/16" tubing.

WOW! Gorgeous looking rig there stdu007
Great job stdu!
STDU007 is it the liquid or tubes that are UV?
Nice job with the cables as well.
Is there an elbow on the rear mounted rad?
Nice job stdu007 on your case - keep rocking with your single posting bad a$$ self.:D
+1 :)
doesn't effect temps though. flow doesn't either. only when you have a difference of 100gpm / 1200gpm It's all a bit too overrated.
just don't use thermal compound and lap your IHS and block as good as possible. I got rid of the compounds, and now my loads went from 62c to 54c. :S
Ahh, just love looking at all these great builds...
As NetburstXE, disruptfam and myself have above pointed out, this advice is arse. You're correct in that the purpose of TIM is to improve heat transfer - no surface is ever completely flat right down at the microscopic level; what may be flat to the eye or the micrometer will in reality be covered in peaks and valleys. Therefore, you do not get perfect contact between the IHS and the baseplate, and therefore, thermal transfer is less efficient.
The purpose of TIM is to fill in these microscopic valleys, and thus increase the area of the two surfaces that is in contact - and thus increase thermal transfer. However, if you're ham-fisted in your application of TIM and smother the surfaces in contact, you'll actually decrease thermal transfer - no matter the product, TIM is less efficient at conducting heat than perfect metal-to-metal contact, and so it will actually serve as an insulator.
Apply sparingly in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and remember that the flatter the surfaces in contact the less TIM required and you'll be fine, but above all else do not listen to dnb#'s advice here.
