if your DIMMs don't perform that well don't push them hard with voltage!
bad sticks seem to be more sensitive !

@rabbi_nz give me a couple of days to run up to 3.6V on them to have full voltage scale results :)

I have changed nothing other than Tras from 10 to 8... maybe it is a socket 754 thing or maybe a clawhammer thing... I dont know, but 2 other guys actually tipped me off bout this so it is not limited to me. And it seems to improve stability on nF2 aswell.
They are actually programmed for SPD of 2-2-2-8 so it doesn't seem overly suprising to me.

Temps have risen for me too, but the only frequency to have dropped is at 3.1v... and it has REALLY DROPPED. I'm not sure if after a burnin these chips lose their lower voltage performance and gain top end or if it's just the additional heat.. but I have gone from ~248 MHz to ~240 when running 2-2-2-10 and ~242 with 2-2-2-8... strange.

I can actually do a loop or two at 267 2-2-2-8 3.3v but then I get quite a few errors... my temps are quite high (bout 30c+ case temps) so it likely the cause.... but all that will be remedied in the near future ;)

we use different platforms ... and if your RAM likes 8 just leave it there :D

for the life of me i cant get these things stable on my intel system. Modded IC7-G Vdimm and Vtt and Vdd modded. no luck with it what so ever.

I have no idea what the refresh rate is. I don't think I've seen it in the Abit bios.

after i disabled Performance mode, i restarted ran memtest and says PAT is still enabled. Sandra did take a hit. But whatevers, theres more than enough bandwidth already. Is there any way for me to make the tweak permanent without having to run it every single time while Im in windows?

With the IC7 Mobo you can't disable the PAT thing that is a pain in the ass(.) for those modules.......Try to run them like this : 2 - 5 - 3 - 2 , Auto , Normal , 5(or 4=faster) ,Disable , disable....... ;)

I tried running 2-2-2-5, 2-2-2-8 and 2-2-2-11 now. Sandra gives me 3496/3261, 3516/3287 and 3560/3315 at 245Mhz, 3.18V. All settings passed 30 loops of memtest test5.But as soon as I run default tests, I get about 200errors per pass :/ I even get errors using a single 512MB stick at 3.2V running 100x10 or running 200x10 with worst timing I can set. Is that something to worry about or is memtest test 5 enough to say its stable enough? Prime run just fine at priority 10 for 14 hours, will do 24hours next week. 3d Mark 01 run also fine for 5 hours. I just get occasionally bluescreens and dont know what the reason of those are. Will format next week to make sure it aint WinXP ;) Or is that because I am not default memtest stable?

Why is your 245 2-2-2-11 bandwidth so low? I get 3741/3512 on 245MHz 2-2-2-11 (1T)

you need to run memtest a lot longer. I get errors after the 447th pass of memtest #5. Then I ran every test there is on memtest and there are errors in other tests as well. So I wouldnt just rely on just test 5.

The bios you need is on this page to allow up to 4v. But you will need to mod your 3.3v psu rail.

yeah i knew that but i got a crappy 400w coba psu and i don´t think it´s possible to mod that thing :)
