So far I'm past 5 hours prime @1.39vcore 2907mhz. It failed @ 1.376vcore after 1hr 23min. My top speed default vcore ended up 2826mhz @1.31vcore 12hrs prime stable.
I'm still waiting on my CCBBE 170 I was assured it was overnighted today and I should have it tomorrow. Gonna sell this 165 CCBBE 0617 so I probably won't push it any further. Pretty sure it will hit 3ghz though since its doing 2.9ghz with less than 1.4vcore 43'c. I'll post screen shots after 12hrs.
Wow nice OCs. I just got a 165 CCB1E 06. Is the CCBBE better ? Im gonna be using stock HSF and AS5 for now.. any idea how hot it might get around 2.6 ?

got my ccbwe to boot at 2750(250x11) 1.4 x 1.024 but core0 crapped out on me after 8mins(41degcload)
-2750 1.425 x 1.024 crapped out after 5 +1/2 hours(44degcload).
im on 1.4 x 1.048(47deg load)
what do you think my chances of getting to 2860(260(this ram's max)x11) and maintaining less than low 50degc loads?
i have a few aces up my sleeve (fan adapter and 120mm Getto-style delta (using 92mm atm) and just got my liquid metal in the mail :P

My 165 CCB1E 0608 MPMW can do 2.9ghz at 1.4vcore, but its heat limited even with the IHS off. 47c at load w/IHS off is kinda high on air though. My watercooling is not setup yet. Might go waaaay higher with water. I might just sell it and wait for something else though.
Hey guys i got a problem I get both cores stable on 2.75ghz but when i move to 2.8ghz one core runs perfect while the other one dies after 2 min of prime. What could be causing it? and what should i do?
One core always fails before the other when overclocking. Typically thats a sign of needing more volts or it doesn't like the temp its priming at. One thing I did notice, I was orginally testing this chip while using an antec neo 550HE and it would fail prime after 20min or so @ 2.9ghz 1.4vcore. My 12v rail was @ 11.64v. I switched back to the OCZ powerstream which usually stays between 12.22v & 12.28v and was able to complete over 12hours. What are your 12v rails idling @?Quote:

Well I'm still testing the 165 0617 right now. I'll be going to watch superman tonight, it should have primed 8-10hrs by then. I have it @1.45vcore 2952 mhz but the temp is just under 50'c so I might be reaching its limit soon. I'll probably forgoe finding the voltage needed for 3ghz and switch then. Sorry but it will be at least tomorrow night before I complete the max oc default volts prime test on the 170 CCBBEQuote:

well I upped the vcore and i'm now priming at 2.8ghz. Seems to be working but I had to make a HUGE jump from 2.7-2.8ghz for vcore.
If any1 with an a8n32 have any advice pls let me know. I'm getting major cold boot issues here.

one core does 3ghz stable the other one can't do 2.85.
