Guess what, Vista is not dead, on the contrary. It's the :banana::banana::banana::banana:ing stupid mobo giving me crap. Listen to this fellas...
If I don't have any CD/DVD in my drives, but set boot priority to HDD 1st (no other drives attached, only the VRs so they are on top naturally) the mobo just says boot disk failure after a few seconds.
Now, if I insert the Vista DVD and reboot, I see the "press a button if you want to enter setup" screen - remember, I did NOT change boot priority, it's still on HDD 1st - so why the hell does it boot from CD then?!
Now on to the good part: If I wait a few seconds and don't enter setup, Vista will boot up fine.
If I remove the DVD it's boot disk failure again. :p: :ROTF::ROTF: :rofl: :mad:
