What's with the new Mushkin Xtreme Performance DDR sticks? I'm guessing those are TCCDs? Redline 3200 has been removed on their site... weird. Go check their site out =)
whats the max voltage for Corsair XMS PC3200XL Pro Rev. 1.2??
Now they are running on 2.8 @ 230FSB 2-3-3-5-1T.
I just got a responce on the corsair IC thread about my mem. just wanted to let everyone know. The Ramguy lists my mem mods as TCCD :) talk about a great RMA lol I rmaed hynix and got back tccd :)

please update the mushkin redline - they use utt ch5 and not bh5 as you mention :toast:

i doesn't matter whether its gskill or corsair but rather what week are used tccd's.
i remember there were some weeks that liked 3.0-3.1v but anything over that isn't advisable, especially for longterm usage.
week : almost are 443. 2 pair of XL are 503. My C2PT v4.1 IC are 449... How long about "longterm" ? I used in 4-5 month :) and no prob...Anyway maybe my rams are special because of full mod Ram HS ( copper + High performance Thermal Paste + Active Cooling ) :D. With stock HS, put it 3.1v max ;)
you've run them @3.3v for 4-5 months? wow...
i think weeks 43x were the ones which liked more voltage, i'm not sure though. newer ones like less.
437 and 440 not like more than 3.1. My 449 like max 3.3v :D... Daily 3.2v :)
okay, 449's you say.
and what about newer ones, 5xx?
I have not mod HS so I'll try :D
Hey guys ! Are all Kingston HyperX PC3200 ( not K2 , A2 ... ) BH5 chip ? I found 2x512Mbs HyperX PC3200 and wanna make sure before buying them

promos most likely.
try testing them a bit, if they max out around 220-230 thats it.
Help us to insert it then! Post the CPU-Z "SPD" screenshot and test them a bit with different timings and report your results! :DQuote:

Rev. 1.3 to 1.7? You mean 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 & 1.7 or 1.3 & 1.7, because for example 1.5 have Winbond New BH5 (UTT BH5)?Quote:

That's why I always ask for screenshots ;).Quote:

I've personally seen only v1.4, v1.5 and v1.7, and they were all Winbond chips; the rest is based on 2nd hand info. Also, it seems all the 3200C2PT 1.X and 2.X are Winbond, 3.X is Infineon, 4.X is Samsung and 5.1 & 6.1 is MosEl; Corsair is using different numbers for every chip manufacturer.
Yeah, this is mostly true. Anyway in the screenshots there isn't the "SPD" window.Quote:

yes, it would be logical thal all c2 v1.x's are winbond based, however, all (i think) c2 v1.4 inquiries have been linked to mosel vitelic by ramguy. maybe you should post your info there and see whats the official response, just out of curiosity.

Anyone know anything about this memory? It appears that Mushkin has just released it. I curious as what chips this memory would have. I might also mention that I also purchased 2x1GB set of it.

on the end of the part number, there is a period, then a few letters and numbers.
example:
BL6464Z402.16TG
CT12864Z40B.M16FD or .16TD2
the first number (16) is the number of chips on the pcb. most often, 4 and 8 are single sided while 16 is always double.
the letter after the first number, T or F. T stands for TSOP, F stands for FBGA
the next letter, there's 3 options, it denotes the chip die revision, C, D and G, for 5b C, 5b D and 5b G
the last number, if there, i haven't quite figured out yet. i'm guessing a different pcb revision or something.
that out of the way, i have also discovered that 512mb ballistix can come in 5b D, single sided:

It do not really look like Winbonds, i think it's something other!
Here are Kingstons with Winbond BH5 :

According to Duonger (Mushkin employee), they're not Infineon chips. See the 2x1GB thread for the post.Quote:

Does anyone know what chips does it uses ?
Ultra Extreme memory
I`ve heard that is bh-5  ..... If somebody knows please post .
The old Ultras used BH5, but the new ones..hmm.. don't think so! Timings 2.0-3-2-x .. that could be alot of ICs! Maybe it's UTT CH5.
It is quite strange that i only see those on Tigerdirect ..... even if it is UTT the price is not bad .Quote:
