I might put acrylic later but I really don't like the look of it.
I will probably keep it open so I can stare into the case as it sits right next to me on top of my desk.

Superb build there Armeniandave..
Holey Moley.. absolutely love the bioshock side panel. That thing looks friggin awesome!
Didn't get a chance to get down to your area. Just came back from 2 weeks in Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga.
Now it's time to get the boss a new camera :)
Nice job on the side panel, Dave.
I hear you on the acrylic. I actually find I leave the side panel off of my cube most of the time anyway - always fiddling, and I like to look at it too. I guess dust is the biggest concern, but so far it doesn't seem like a problem.
awesome man, awesome!
Wow, your craftsmanship and attention to detail are inspiring. Truly impressive build, but I suppose you already know that!
Thanks for all the kind words, I really do appreciate them.
Here's the finished product.
The panels were grained the same as the rest of the case to match it.
I also changed the ram out for Mushkin Redlines and then put a modified OCZ ram cooler on. Basically swapped out the fans for bigger fans and painted it gloss black like my brackets.
Beautifull, congratulations
That looks awesome
I've been a fan of your "control box", your wire hiding engineering and your brackets (bought a couple myself). Amazing side panel workmanship to an already ridiculously sick case.
How many fans did you finally end up with?
Thanks!
I have 23 fans total.
I'm only using 5 on the front (turned four off with the fan controller)
The 9 on top are set too low and the five in the back are also on low.
Temps are great and even on high temps barely move.
With all the fans on low this case is very quiet.
looks good! a bit shame about the internals not being seen fully though... the custom stuff that you put inside should be shown off.
It might be kind of hard to tell but you can see everything inside, not as well as it being completely open but actually a bit better than the window.
I can actually reach through and touch stuff, which with the amount of labor I put into this thing is a bonus!
i really loved watching this build, where did you get that 9x fan holder ?
Loving those last pics! Nice job, Dave. You're making me want to redo my cube.
I am assuming you mean the grill in the front??
I made it! Drew it up and water jetted it out.
There's a slightly different one on the inside.
Shazza you seem to always be rebuilding/building stuff!!
I doubt my build will make you rebuild your system!
I'm sure you'll just get bored of it and rebuild it for fun!
wow man great case i just hope i can come up with something as good as you guys
i trust you on that armeniandave.
and i wouldn't blame you if you get touchy with your own creation... your brackets are of such a high quality, i dare not modify them (the first version) when it couldn't fit the ek tops for mcp655. instead, i changed my pumps! haha.
great work!
thats awesome :D
i want 2 of them and make a external watercooling case :D
they look fairly easy to make with a hole saw and the right dimensions
Amazing ! very good looking !
Just saw this... nice custom build here! I think something like this would be great for the new dual cpu classified mobo. Guess I just didn't realize HOW huge that case is... but seeing it next to the other case in the photos really drives it home.
Where do we get the custom UN designs stuff? or is it not allowed to ask such questions?
Also... would you consider doing a custom logo or do you insist that the UN designs logo be used?
You should probably ask some of that stuff through pm, but quite a bit of his items are sold through the recommended watercooling parts shops. I do not recall which shops carry UN Designs items, but I believe there are a few.
This case is definately huge and can house about anything you could imagine. The specs are 24x24x18 (HxDxW)
Dave Definately has some skills...which is an understatement
Bolas you can PM me if you have specific questions about custom stuff.
This case was a practice case for many ideas I had so that's why there's the UN logo here and there. I'm only selling it cause my wall case is frigging just as big and actually more expensive to make so I can't have both!
This case would fit ANY motherboard you could imagine.
The vastness of it is intimidating yet rewarding when it comes time to fill it.
INFRNL thanks for the compliment bro! There's alot of skills in these forums and I'm just happy to contribute a little bit.
Did that case ever sell? Id love to get my hands on it...
